Summary: Leonardo tries to meditate.

Counting the Days

Leonardo sat in the dojo, in a meditating position. He tried to clear his mind and relax his body, but couldn't. He couldn't as long as he could hear him in the other room. With, Leo couldn't help the snarl, him. What did he see in him? Didn't he know that he was just using him? Especially now, after the change. Almost everyone noticed. He clung more to him after they all became human. But of course, he didn't notice at all. He just thought it was all normal behavior.

Maybe… Leo thought. Maybe he knows and is just marking his territory or something.

Leo sighed and shook his head. He wasn't going to be meditating any time soon. His mind was too muddled tonight. He sighed again then stood up.

He walked out of the dojo and towards his room. He paused in the living room, staring at the two people sitting on the couch, currently laughing quietly, sneaking kisses in every now and again.

Maybe, just maybe, he'll see the truth and see him with different eyes just like I have for years, Leo thought.

"Oh, Leo. Ummm…didn't see you there," Raphael said, a blush started to show across his cheeks. Casey glanced back at Leo then back towards the movie on the television.

"Umm, yeah, I was just meditating for a bit. Started to get tired so I figured I'd go take a nap or something," Leo said, scratching the back of his head, hair curling around his fingers. Still getting use to that, he thought absentmindedly.

"Oh…well, we're almost finished the movie if you wanna sit here and watch TV," Raph said.

Casey's eyes glanced back at Leo as he idly placed his arm on the back of the couch, behind Raphael's head.

"Uhhhh…no, that's fine. I'll just fall asleep anyways," Leo said, with a soft smile.

Raph shrugged then turned back to the TV. Casey leaned in and whispered something in his ear, so low that Leo couldn't hear it. Raph snickered quietly then nodded, a blush appearing across his face again, as he fixed his red hair back behind his ear.

Leo's eyes narrowed at the act then continued on his way to his room. As he closed the door and leant against it, he closed his eyes and rested his head against the wood.

Yeah, give him a few days…he'll see the truth then, he thought, then headed for his bed.
