He tugs at the tie around his neck, adjusting the knot as his heart beats a marathon in his chest and the butterflies in his stomach dart this way and that. He's not sure he's ever been this nervous before in his life, and his hands are shaking as he reaches up to fix his hair. Nothing will go wrong here, he tells himself, you're safe here. As he reaches the door, he falters… his nerve slipping as he glances back to his car and the possibility of going back. With a shake of his head, he turns back and opens the door.
