The Quest for Canterlot
Shadows fill what is left of the light leaving everything in cold, utter darkness. A pony galloped through the darkness with one thing on his mind, to steal and hide the place he wanted most, Canterlot! He kicked dirt, sticks and small rodents away from his path to the castle. Snorting he ran up to the guards of the castle and cast a spell, a spell of eternal sleep and used his dark, black, thorny horn to shrink the castle whom was owned by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
Finally Canterlot was hidden and seen only by Phoenix the in a simple flower that could only be picked by six ponies that had true friendship in their heart. Phoenix was satisfied he was the only pony who knew Canterlot was disguised as a simple rose. Satisfied as he was, Phoenix fell fast asleep under a willow tree in the Everfree forest.
Twilight awoke to the sound of birds singing outside her window. She flew up out of bed and out the window to look at the beautiful view of Canterlot. To her surprise, Canterlot had disappeared! She brushed her purple, pink hair away from her eyes as she searched for her friends, to see if they could help her discover where Canterlot had gone. Her wings carried her to Mr. and Mrs. Cakes house to look for her friend Pinkie Pie.
Twilight knocked on the door and out bounced Pinkie Pie. "Hiya, Twilight," Pinkie Pie smiled; "How can I help you?"
Twilight shivered and said "Umm.. look over there," and pointed to canterlot, "are you up for a adventure?"
" What do you mean Canterlot is gone?! But yeah! let's get going!", exclaimed Pinkie.
" Okay then, let's go find Rainbow Dash!" , replied Twilight. So they ambled down the road to find their friend.
As soon as Pinkie Pie and Twilight started walking, there came Rainbow flying down from kicking the clouds.
"Hey guys!" Rainbow Dash smiled "What's going on ?"
"Go ahead Pinkie" said Twilight.
"Canterlot disappeared !" shrieked Pinkie Pie, as she jumped up and down.
Rainbow dash uncovered her ears and looked at Pinkie, "Pinkie Pie please stop shrieking".
"Okay I'll stop"said Pinkie glumly.
"Wait! What did you say ?" asked Rainbow Dash.
Pinkie Pie opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Twilight looked at Pinkie and then back to Rainbow Dash and said " Canterlot is gone".
Rainbow Dash gasped and looked confused. "What do you mean Canterlot disappeared?" Twilight glared at Rainbow Dash and told her about how the castle was no where to be seen.
"Well what are we going to do ?" said Rainbow Dash.
"Well, we need to go get Rarity, Fluttershy, and Apple Jack," said Twilight. So they ran straight to Rarity's house. Pinkie Pie banged on the door and screamed, " Open up! We have something important to tell you and you must get out here now!" Other ponies walking by looked at Pinkie Pie and shook their heads.
Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie and said " Please, Pinkie, be quiet".
"I'm afraid this is taking too long, " declared Twilight. "Rainbow, you go get Fluttershy & Apple Jack, and meet us back in the town square as quick as you can."
After the friends reunite in the square, Twilight suggests the group consult the magic scrolls of the ancient castle of the pony sisters, Celestia & Luna. The friends agree and make way for the Everfree Forest, desperate that this may be their only hope of finding a clue to the disappearance of Canterlot.
