He fell in love with her. The fire in her eyes, her witty retorts, and her strong sense of humor; that charming smile she had but most of all he fell in love with the way she made his heart beat so fast.

Dimitri fell in love with Anya.

But…

Princesses don't marry Kitchen boys…

It was true. A princess like her could never marry him; he had neither name nor status. She deserved all the grandeur of a high-class woman in their time.

…Surprisingly he never thought he would fall in love with a loud, obnoxious but clever girl. He never though he would fall in love EVER. But those eyes which reeled him in, they were full of confidence that only belonged to a true princess, a true royal! The way she held herself and the way she would speak with grace whatever words came out her mouth.

The time he held her after a nightmare on the ship made him see the fragile girl who yearned for a family, hiding inside her strong and proud exterior.

The way she memorized the names of royalty as if she never forgot them was astounding, most girls they tried to teach before took months to learn all these information and when questioned they made mistakes. The determination she had been praise-worthy.

Anya took days to memorize a bunch of names, places and things that really seemed believable.

Of course it would, if anyone could do it, it would be her... He thought.

When Sophie asked her about her escape, he thought it was game over. But Anya answered it, surprisingly correct. They never taught her anything about the escape, so how could she possibly know unless she was the princess? And that was when he knew that they had found they lost princess of Imperial Russia.

Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov, they found her.

Princesses don't marry Kitchen boys… but somehow fate decreed that invalid.

To see Anya no Anastasia the Grand Duchess agree to elope with him made his heart soar!

He would make sure that she was happy; He would make sure they had a family together. He would make sure that the Grand Duchess would feel that she belonged, because Anya deserved it…

He was hers and she was his.

Dimitri was Anya's… and Anya was his.

And together they would be Happy.

Together in Russia…

And St. Peter's burg would have some more to talk about
