The battle beyond may hold my death.
But death I do not fear.
I never knew what scared me most.
But now it is so clear.
Nothing compares to this constant terror;
This fear of losing you.
To keep you safe from harm there is,
Nothing I would not do.
It breaks my heart when I see your tears.
So, Georgie, please don't cry.
I am so sorry that I left you,
And didn't say goodbye.
Now Georgie please stop crying.
It was meant to be this way.
For the rest of your life I promise you.
With you my heart will stay.
