A/N: Slight AU. After the death of Rido, Zero decided to kill all pure-bloods. He killed Yuuki and in turn Kaname killed him for that. Story happens 3 years later. Cross Academy and Night class still exist along with all the main vampires. May contain spoilers from manga.
"Will you wake up?" A deep voice belonging to a man asked, the said man looking at a sleeping young girls body.
"How long has it passed?" The man heard a females voice in his head ask.
"Five hundred years. Two days ago was your one thousand twentieth birthday." He replied vocally, as if the sleeping figure has spoken out-loud.
"I suppose, I could. But can both worlds think that I am still asleep?" The females voice yet again asked in the mind of the man.
"The world of living can think that you are asleep for as long as you like, however, in this world it won't do. Those of importance and your fiancée will have to know about your awakening the very same day and they will decide when the rest will know about it." The man replied in a serious voice, yet again, vocally.
There were few minutes of silence, which the man spent petting the females hair, till he heard one word in his mind as a reply "Alright."
The man pierced his index finger with the black, claw-shaped nail of his thumb, allowing deep crimson liquid come out. He moved his finger to the female's lips and coloured her pale blue lips to crimson of his blood. For a moment nothing happened but then, suddenly, the blood coating the female's lips disappeared and the eyes of the said female snapped open revealing, yet again, deep crimson colour.
"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" The man asked in a teasing tone.
"Not really. The surface was a bit too hard." The female croaked quietly due to her dry throat and the lack of use of voice for a long period of time. However, her attempt to chuckle turned into a coughing fit.
"I suppose a meal is in order?" The man joked with a knowing smile on his lips and then asked: "What would you like?"
"You know my taste." The female replied hoarsely.
The man smiled and clapped his hands twice. A door was opened and a tall, slender man entered. He was pale and had yellow eyes along with dark spiky hair and a bit feminine face. He went to the now awakened female and leaned over her. All of his actions were monotone, as if he was under some sort of hypnosis. He moved his neck by the female's lips, almost touching them. The female opened her mouth, revealing fangs growing from her canines, and bit the young mans throat.
