Chapter 1

Tucson, Arizona

After she turned 21, Angelica Cortez jumped on her Softail Deluxe and rode out west. It took a lot of convincing and assurances with her father before she could cross any bridge out of the Big Apple.

It was not long after leaving Colt's charter in Texas that Angelica was on the road when Sons from SAMTAZ picked her up and brought her to their VP.

Daniel Givens, better known to his brothers in the MC as Psycho, had not seen Angelica Cortez since 2010. She was 13 back then. 8 years later, an extremely endowed 6ft tall statuesque woman was walking towards him with a smile on her face. "Hi, Danny. It's been so long since we saw each other in the Big Apple."

"It damn sure was a long time. You were a kid back then." Psycho said as he hugged Coyote's first born daughter. "What brought you out here?"

"I wanted to go outside of New York and find out who I can be. Angelina and I do not have much of a lot in the club except as a Son's Old Lady."

"That's not enough for you?" Psycho did not expect Angelica to have the itch to Prospect for the club or any club.

"I love my dad and my mom. Since I was born, I grew up around the MC. In spite of that, the club was always for men. It gets under my skin, knowing Angelina and I can not really contribute much else in the MC. Angelo's the only one who could carry on our family name as a Son."

Psycho led her to the chapel. Once inside, he closed the doors so they could talk very candidly. "Did you talk with Coyote?"

"Dad and I talked about it before I left. He did not want me or Angelina being treated as sweet butts. I'm sure he's never thought of us being hazed as Prospects." Angelica had looked at the SOA Reaper engraved in the thick wooden table in woeful resignation. "The best Angelina and I could do was talk him into letting us ride motorcycles."

Turning away from the table, Angelica took in the look of Psycho as the #2 man in SAMTAZ. "How are you taking to the change in position?"

"I had a lot of things to square away. Eight years of being in one place helped me to do that. I'm not the wild man I was then. I'm not as angry either."

Angelica leaned in and kissed Psycho on the cheek. "It is good to see you, Danny. Believe it or not, we missed seeing you in New York for the holidays. Who's running the Nomads now?"

"Moran is. Scarecrow and Demon both got the boost to VP and Sergeant. For now, the Prospects can get you a private room to shower in and rest up."

"Thanks." Angelica was about to leave when Psycho spoke very candidly. "Why do you want to be a part of an MC?"

Angelica took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts together, turned around and answered, "For me, there is a freedom in the club. The ability to go wherever you want. There's not one part of me that wants to be working at a desk in an office for the better part of my life only to end up thrown out with less than what I put in. How about you? What made you want to leave the Nomads to take a chair in Tucson?"

"The Pres who held the gavel before Franco, he was my adopted father. Armando Garza. Armando's VP and Sergeant sold the idea to him under the idea of saving the charter from going under. I'm honoring Armando and doing what I can to keep SAMTAZ above ground."

"When I get out of the shower and throw on some fresh clothes, we'll talk more over a few drinks." Angelica said before leaving the chapel.

Ten minutes later, Angelica returned in jeans and a tank top, which showed off her huge, perky 32JJ bust. It was not lost on any of the Prospects how stacked she was or how she carried them so well. Joining the SAMTAZ VP at the bar, they spoke over shots of whiskey and spiced rum. "Where's Rane now?"

"He's with SAMCRO now. If there was ever a charter that needed leadership skill and someone who could get things done, it would be the mother charter itself."

"Dad always told Angelo, Angelina and I a whole string of cautionary tales about SAMCRO. President Clay ruined the charter in his eyes and Jax had to commit a whole lot of terrible things to wash it clean again, including his own death." Angelica downed her first shot. "Have things turned around since Jax passed?"

Psycho took a shot of whiskey. The taste of the drink helped him to gather his thoughts together. "I haven't been around Charming or Stockton since Teller got his ticket punched on the highway. The days of the Nords are gone. The Niners and the Mayans are not trying to carve up the map of Oakland with their drug game. As for SAMCRO, I think Chibs is making things work right."

"Angelina and Angelo still remember you, Tom and Rane fondly." Angelica mused.

"The last time I saw them, they were shoulder height next to you." Psycho mused.

"Yeah. They were." Angelica said. Taking the third shot of rum, she added, "My brother turned into a mountain of muscle with four girlfriends on his belt."

"He's still dating all of them?" Psycho joked. "Not at the same time. Four girlfriends between his 13th and 18th birthdays. Angelina wound up bedding two of them and nearly beating the other two to death for cheating on him."

"Angelina slept with two of Angelo's girlfriends? How did he take it?"

"Not too bad since he and Angelina got two three ways out of it." Angelica said, causing Psycho to nearly gag on a shot of whiskey. Angelica laughed at how comical Psycho could be when he wasn't menacing. "Your sister and brother had three ways together?"

"We look out for each other. You never know what the third person may do. Neither of the two women involved ever stayed with either Angelina or Angelo after the three ways."

"Have there been a lot of guys chasing after you? Or did you and your sister chase after women together?"

"There were a few guys who did. None of them stayed for long. There were a few women between me and my sister. As for anything serious, if someone does come along, it will be a surprise to me. For now, it's getting late. I ought to get some rest. Thanks for the drinks."

A tactical retreat was better than going into a long story. If she opened her mouth and talked about Angelo sharing his girlfriends with both her and Angelina, it would spread like a bonfire across the West Coast and inevitably reach her parents.

When she got back to her room, Angelica got changed for bed. She knew all the reasons her father did not like the West Coast by heart. In spite of all his horror stories, Angelica wanted to see what the world was like on the opposite side of the East Coast.

The ring of her cell phone shook Angelica out of her thoughts. "Hello?"

"Did you cross the border into the West Coast yet, sis?" Angelica smiled. "No, I haven't. I'm still a bit far from that. I'm in Tucson. The Sons down here have given me a place to crash at for the night. Psycho's the new VP down here."

"Psycho's not the Sergeant for the Nomads anymore? Is there anyone from the old gang still in the Nomads?"

"Tom is the new lead pack dog. I think Scarecrow and Demon are his new right and left hands. Rane joined the mother charter. I bet Dad would have a fit over that."

"Don't I know it? Psycho told me all about what's been going on over there. It's not the war zone he thinks it is. Nothing is going to happen to me. How are you and Angelo doing?"

"Angelo and I are working as apprentices at the club's auto repair garage. There's already three sweet butts trying to get their claws into him. We clean up the shop after closing and do inventories."

"Sounds like the both of you are doing well for yourselves. How are you both doing so far without me in the bedroom? I do not think Angelo's ever lonely for long and you've more than had your share of his girlfriends."

"There were a few close contenders for something serious. I'm not only talking about Angelo and myself. Am I going to believe you are playing safe or should Angelo and I get ready to be called 'tio y tia' when you get back?"

"Angelina, if I do get knocked up, it won't be by accident or from shortage of condoms."

"Whoever knocks you up better not have any shortage of anything with you."

Angelica laughed at her younger sister's humor. "Just for that, I hope you have triplets while I have twins."

"If that does happen, I hope my breasts produce enough to feed three mouths."

"You'll be a wonderful mother. When Angelo finds the right one for him and they have kids, I'm sure he is going to be a great father." Angelica mentally gave her sister 3 years before she found the right one and another year before she wound up married and expecting kids. For her brother, Angelica gave Angelo 4 years before he found the right one and two years before he would have a wife.

"What I don't know is whether you're going to be here with us when it all happens."

"I'm only out here on the West side of the country on vacation. I'm not putting down roots here anytime soon. It's getting late. We'll talk more in the morning. Te quiero, hermana."

"Te quiero tambien."

"Dale up beso y abrazo a Angelo en mi nombre."

"I will, Angelica. Good night."

Angelica hung up her phone and took her clothes off. Marveling at her lean, busty body in the mirror, she got herself off several times before climbing into bed and falling asleep.

Santo Padre, California

Ezekiel spent the night working into the twilight hours of the night. By then, it was too late to think about going home. Thankfully, he had clean clothes and the necessary amenities in the Prospect mobile home.

In the still silence, Ezekiel could not distract himself from the past and his mistakes. Among them was the one where he broke Emily's heart and dumped her, thinking it was for the best. He had no idea he would have inadvertently signed the death warrant for the child growing inside Emily at the time.

He tried falling asleep but he was already too restless to catch any real rest. Just as he got into some deep sleep, it was only good for an hour before a loud bang on the mobile home's door that woke him up. "Prospect!"

In the blink of an eye, Ezekiel was on his feet and opened the door. Tranq, the Sergeant at Arms for the Santo Padre charter, stood there in front of him with Chuckie next to him, with a bag in one hand and wearing a goofy expression on his face. "Buenos dias, EZ. Got some food for breakfast. Plenty to share with a friend."

"Chuckie, you can share breakfast with the Prospect in a few. Set it up. By the time we're done, he'll join ya."

"Lo acepto." Chuckie smiled innocently and walked towards the table to set things up.

Tranq walked inside the trailer and closed the door behind him, never taking his eyes off Ezekiel. "You had some balls to call out Miguel Galindo the way you did. I don't fault you for that. You asking about his wife, that's something else. If there was anything between you and Emily Galindo, that ship fuckin' sank a long time ago. If there is something, bury it or be buried with it. The decisions you make will impact more than just yourself. Understand?"

Ezekiel nodded silently. Anything that came out of his mouth would have been either patronizing or lying. Tranq tolerated and suffered neither of them.

Once Tranq left, Ezekiel walked out of the mobile home and joined Chuckie, who already had the food set up. "The bakery had all sorts of stuff for me to try out. Rellena. Bunuelos. Tostados. The empanadas are pretty good. I even got Colombian espresso. Gives you a patada en los dientes if you try to down it all at once."

Ezekiel couldn't help but smile at Chuckie's friendly attitude, which was far away from those of Tranq and Adelita, who were cold, predatory and unflinching.

"What's on your mind, Ez?" Chuckie asked innocently.

"Never thought I'd find myself eating a Colombian breakfast." Ezekiel reached out, took a rellena and ate it. "Never thought there were Colombian bakeries out here."

"If you look around enough, you'll find things you never knew were there." Chuckie was never a philosopher or any scholar with titles after his name but, without meaning to, he had moments of sage wisdom.

A loud shriek made Ezekiel and Chuckie jump before an owl swooped down from the gates, snatch up a rat in it's talons and flew off towards the east. "Looks like someone else had the same idea for an early breakfast." Chuckie meant to say it in humor but Ezekiel saw it as a sign, which indicated that rats did not have a long life span and were not spared by Death.

Bakersfield, California

Sabrina Alvarez, La Madrina of the Hell Cats MC, was enjoying one of the precious few days off she had from running day to day business and overseeing the progression of her club. With her Old Lady, Maria, nestled next to her, Sabrina felt content and at peace.

A loud knock on the door woke them both up completely. "Who is it?"

"Sabrina, it's Cricket. I got your brother on the phone. You must have left yours in chapel by mistake."

"Does Marcus know this is one of the few times we can sleep and wake up together?" Maria said as she ran her fingers through Sabrina's long hair. "If he did, he wouldn't have to make a call. He would be the one standing outside the door instead of Cricket."

Climbing out of bed, Sabrina put on her robe, hiding her petite and busty body to Maria's chagrin. She opened the door to see Cricket, her VP, with her phone in hand.

"Thanks." Sabrina said before putting the phone to her ear. "Marcus, como te ha ido, hermano." (Marcus, how are you, brother?)

"Tuve mejor días per sigo siendo vivo, Sabrina. Yo necessito un poco de su mejor para mi dolor. Es posible que puedes enviarlo pronto?" (I had better days but I'm still alive, Sabrina. I need a bit of your best for my pain. Is it possible you can send the weed soon?)

"Donde estas ahora?" (Where are you now?")

"Santo Padre, proxima del frontera entre Los Estados Unidos y Mexico. Yo voy por Cibola manana por negocios pero voy a regresar en la noche. Reunir conmigo en Romero Brothers Scrapyard." (Santo Padre, next to the US/Mexico border. I'm going to Cibola tomorrow for business but I'll be back in the night. Meet with me at Romero Brothers Scrapyard."

"How bad is it?" Sabrina did not mince words or try to dance around the issue. She knew her brother was starting to get beaten down from riding for so long.

"Nothing I can't handle."

"What are you going to do when it's something you can't handle? You were my big brother long before you were El Padrino of the Mayans MC. Even if you lose the kutte, you're still a part of my family."

Cricket and Maria were cautious enough to give Sabrina her space while listening intently to what she was saying.

"What time?" Sabrina asked. "Alright. I'll tell Cricket and Olivia to get ready to ride out with me. If anyone's bringing you our best, it might as well be me. Te quiero, hermano."

Hanging up the phone, Sabrina motioned Cricket over. "What's up, Madrina?"

"Tomorrow, we ride south to Santo Padre. My brother asked for some of our finest product. I plan to deliver my best to him and I'm not going alone. Call Olivia. Then pick three of our best sisters in arms."

"Done. I better get going. Don't want to keep you from cuddling with your Old Lady." Cricket joked as she took her leave.

Sabrina scoffed under her breath while walking back into her bedroom. "What did your brother tell you?" Maria asked, the bed comforters wrapped around her body as she watched Sabrina close the door.

"I'm riding down to Santo Padre tomorrow. Cricket, Olivia and three other patches. Marcus need some of our best hierba to manage the pain."

"Does he need you to personally deliver it to him or did you volunteer to do it?"

"My brother is the reason the Hell Cats exist. He helped me build what we are able to enjoy. I also would like to spend time with him."

Maria fought back the argument that would have gotten her thrown out of Sabrina's bed violently. "How long before you ride out?"

"We ride out at 2 in the afternoon. That means we have a few hours."

Maria let the blankets fall, revealing her naked body to Sabrina. "Then I'm going to use every one of those hours. Hope you're well rested for what I want."

Sabrina let her robe drop to the floor and rejoined her Old Lady in bed.

A/n: This is the first chapter to my first Mayans MC fanfic. Different timelines for certain characters but they are still familiar.
