A short-haired girl is riding a bike down on the outskirts of San Fransokyo. There's nothing interesting about the street, really. The only place that people go there for is the cemetery.

Leiko "GoGo" Tanaka stops on her tracks in front of the gate. The Cherry Blossom petal's fly about from the trees that are at each ends of the gate. It's a beautiful sight but it's not the trees that she went there for. It's for Tadashi Hamada.

GoGo walks toward his grave, path memorised due to multiple visits from her. Once every week. Nobody actually knows that she stops by the cemetery. Not even Honey Lemon, her best friend. All they know is that there is always a fresh bouquet of dandelions sitting on his resting place. Well, Hiro knows that it's GoGo who does it since he actually caught her in the act. He thought of visiting his brother but noticed the purple streaked woman placing the flowers. He never told anyone about it, much to GoGo's relief.

She sits cross-legged on the grass and sets down the bouquet. She pops her bubblegum and stares at the name engraved on the stone.

"Hey. Sorry for visiting just now. Been trying to study for the exams and the deadline for the project is coming near, so I had to skip a couple of weeks. But I'm here now. So, you don't need to worry."

She rests her elbows on her knees.

"You won't believe this but I actually helped Aunt Cass cook yesterday. It was for your first anniversary. Even though I cannot really cook, I tried anyway. I ended up cutting myself.", she raises her left finger, wrapped around by a band-aid. "But Baymax patched me up."

GoGo feels herself choking. She bites down her lip to stop the tears from coming out.

Not now. Please, not now.

No matter how hard she resisted, she cried anyway.

"I miss you so much, Tadashi. So much."

"Why did you have to leave us? Why? If you didn't leave us, Aunt Cass wouldn't have been hurting. Hiro wouldn't have been depressed. The gang wouldn't have been sad. I wouldn't have been crying every night."

"Out of all the people who would leave me, why did it have to be you?"

Even when a year has passed, the frustration that GoGo felt is still lingering within her. Frustrated for not showing how much she cared for him, letting him do all the sweet stuff. She loved him so much but she never got to tell him. The night of Hiro's showcase, she was about to tell Tadashi how she felt for him after. But then, the building burned into flames. She never had the chance.

She touches the grave and flinches. The authorities didn't find his body but concluded that he might've been burned to ashes. That's what everybody believed but GoGo thought that it might not be the case. That he might actually be alive, not burned up from the explosion. But that's just wishful thinking. His body was disintegrated. That's it.

She stayed there for a couple more minutes before deciding to go home. She wipes her tears away and stands up straight.

"See you next week, nerd.", she says with a promise, before turning around and walking on her heels, away from Tadashi's grave. It never occured to her that she might be alone in the cemetery, or if she was not, it probably would be someone she doesn't know.

But out in the distance, there's a man standing behind a tree. Baseball cap on his head. He looks at GoGo's direction.

"See you too soon, Leiko."

A/N:

Boring chapter, I know. And I'm sorry for that. Not really used to writing fanfiction yet but for TomaDashi, I'll do my best.

And you might have noticed that I used GoGo's real name in the comics. I'm aware that she is Korean in the movie but I always saw her as Japanese and her original character is one. So yes. I will stick to Leiko Tanaka than Ethel.

Reviews are very much welcome. And I do not hate criticism so a bit of advice would be delightful.
