Red and Black, Red and Black

Red and black and red and black
and Green and Brown and Blue.
Red are clouds, Red is blood
and black is your hair and heart.

Red and black and red and black
and Green and Brown and Blue.
Green is the ever-so-still forest grass,
and brown is the dirt smudge on your chin.

Red and black and red and black
and blue and blue and blue.
Blue is the sky, blue is the river,
and blue is your sword through my body.

Red and black and red and black:
It's an endless, repeating color scheme.
Red are your eyes, black are your eyes,
and whites are all there is left.

Call me a fool for believing in love,
call me a fool for not.
Call me a fool for one-sided passion,
call me a fool for lust.

Call me a fool for walking in your trap,
call me a fool for knowing.
Call me a fool for my naivety.
But all now, it matters not.

Red and black and red and black
and Green and Brown and Blue.
Five colors now define my world,
whereas yours has only two.

Red and black and red and black
and Green and Brown and Blue:
Color schemes and colored schemes
and monochromic mazes.

Where the angel falls and the devil rises
and the fresh leaf withers away,
Where madness reigns and evils rule
and your soul freezes, and your heart darkens,

And your mind is consumed by the poisonous ideas
of bloodlust, and fear, and revenge,
and where you walk, and where you're lost
and where you will stay, trapped for eternity,

And where you shall be transformed
by red and black and red and black;
and now, you let go, falling into
red and black and red and black.

And even now, I still drown
in red and black and red and black,
but no longer I shall remain captivated
in red and black and red and black,

Because, I know, all you will ever live by is
red and black and red and black,
and gray and white and every other color
have long ceased meaning to you.

So

Now I close my eyes, and I hide away
from those red and black and red and black,

And I erase myself from existence.
