Rin Matsuoka/ Haruka Nanase
Feeling the light breeze coming from the sea and the heat of the rising sun. He loved those feelings, especially in summer. That's why he had begun to wake up earlier of what he was accustomed.
Every morning, he was running around the town. But, also, when he had finished, the red haired boy took a minute to go to Haru's house. Standing at the front door he wondered:
-"What am I doing here?" before he leaves quietly.
He really wanted to knock, but after a few minutes, he turned and ran back home. Even if he had the courage to do it, and wait for Nanase's answer, what could he say?
And then, after his morning run, he goes to the gym with Sousuke then school and, finally, swimming practice. But later on that day, he was lying in his bed, alone in the room. Sousuke left to buy some drinks. They really thirsty.
-"It's not supposed to be so long to buy drinks." Rin says, thinking out loud.
-"I'll go myself."
So he got up, put on his shoes and went to the vending machine. He sees no one on the way there. Purchase the coffee he wanted, but then he decided to go outside for a bit. The day was so long, but at least he could relax a bit because this was the last school day before summer break.
Drinking, thinking, walking around. He appreciates the pleasant summer weather.
-"I wonder what Haru's doing right now." He says looking up at the sky.
But then he heard something, like footstep, coming toward him. He looked to see who it was. It took a few seconds to his eyes to adjust because of the dark. But he couldn't be more surprised.
-"Haru! What are you doing here?"
Nanase didn't answer right away. Speechless to see Rin so soon. He hadn't expected to see him outside of the dorm.
-"Nothing special." Trying to seem indifferent.
-"I need to talk to you." Haru said.
-"What for?" He was intrigued by what the other teen has to say.
Haruka looked briefly at Gou's brother and then showed him the bench behind him by nodding. Rin follows him but doesn't sat.
-"So, what is it?"
-"I saw you." He says fast, closing his eyes because of the embarrassment.
At that moment, Rin didn't know what to think. What, exactly, Haruka mean by saying "I saw you."?
-"I don't know what you were doing, but I know you came to my house this morning." Haru got up while saying with a casual but serious voice.
-"WHa! I thought you couldn't see me!" He looked into Haruka's eyes.
-"It's because I like you. I just don't know what your feelings toward me, beside friendship, are. And…"
Haru couldn't wait until Rin finished and interrupted.
-"I like you too, you know."
He was really embarrassed to say it in these circumstances, which he looked away. Attempting to define what he would do next.
Rin had stopped talking. He wasn't sure if he was in a dream or what was really happening. Words weren't needed anymore. Moving his right hand to Haru's chin, turning his head so they'd face each other. He slowly got closer, the black haired teen didn't objected so Rin led him into a kiss.
