Laridia felt bored. Usually she would always feel the need for power, but she was useless in the dungeons, and the guards were never asleep.
But she felt restless today, like something was going to happen.
"I wonder if this will be my lucky day." she mouthed her thoughts out loud.
Her dark red, short hair moved in the freezing wind. She would be trapped in the moon's dungeons forever.
"Fat chance." said a guard rudely, who was passing by and heard her words.
"Yeah, like I care. I just feel something is going to happen, and I was only mouthing my thoughts, you idiot." fired back the prisoned witch.
She thought hard. How would she escape? Then she smirked as she saw a key on the floor nearby. She only had a little magic, for it was not all drained completely yet. Whispering the spell, the key floated up and silently unlocked the cage.
Laridia sneaked out as quietly as she could. This was her chance. Her fat chance, as the guard had said!
"Ugh!" screamed Thira, as her flying went all wobbly again. She fired again. Missed. "Concentrate Thira!" said Ms Thressa. She turned off Vanessa's music which was distracting Thira. "Sorry, Vanessa, but Thira is training, and she must catch up with the others as soon as possible."
Nessa blushed, then shrugged. "Can I help her, please?" she begged.
The teacher smiled. "Yes, you may. Have fun, but do not keep her distracted, please!"
Vanessa laughed. "OK!" She flew up to Thira, who was yelling in frustration. "Hey! Stop yelling for a few secs, Thee. I'm here to help. Now, I have a few tips for you."
Thira paused in midair. She looked sideways with her eyes. "Ok, blast ahead." she said lazily.
Vanessa sighed inwardly. "Make sure your flying is the right angle. And try to keep as still as possible as you concentrate on your target." she said. She flapped her pink and purple wings. Sometimes Thira could be difficult, the way she handled things.
But that was only when she was frustrated. She pushed her own wishes away and began to watch how Thira was firing the targets.
"It's a good thing how you balance yourself like that, Thira. Well done." congratulated Vanessa as she floated down.
Miss Theressa looked at Nessa proudly. "From what I've heard, Vanessa, you'd make a great teacher!" she exclaimed.
Well what do you think? OH NO! Laridia has escaped, and now she is about to cause chaos! What will happen? Find out in Chapter 2! Sorry this was so short!
