So I got some news. Any stories I tried to create before this are hereby abandoned. As much as I would like to take them down, clean them up, and restart them, I just can't. The reason being is that I can't really work up the motivation to do so, and I'm always utterly exhausted due to school and other personal stuff. Also, I can't just create and then upload a chapter, wait like seven months, and then create another chapter and post, I just don't want to do that lazy stuff. I've seen amazing stories go without being updated for long times, I've even been following one that hasn't been updated for like a year or two now. But now onto what this is. I may not have the same creative fire to create stories or create chapters for existing stories anymore, but I can do this.
This, is basically just a string of ways one can start a story, hence the name 'A string of ideas'. Maybe you can take one of them and create a brand new story, or take one that already exists and make something amazing from it. All I ask is that you at least consider doing so, rather than just peeking in on this and thinking 'Oh hey, some of these actually look pretty nice! I would do this, but I just don't really want to' or something like that. If it's a more or less legit reason like 'Oh I wish I could make a story with this since it seems like a good story-starter', it's just I can't think of a way to do it', then it's fine.
Also, every other chapter will actually be a bit of a surprise, I'm not gonna spoil it though, just wait for when I upload to this next. But now, onto the little story starter for this chapter. It's going to fantasy or anime-like because of mentions of sealing.
It all started with the voices in my head./it all started with them.
They said I was a demon because of what had been sealed within me./Our container considered a demon for housing us.
They knew of just the one, but there were more. (?) more to be exact./They never considered there to be more of us, just the one.
Not one suspected, not even my closest friend./Even their friend was clueless, ignorant of the truth that was in front of their eyes.
After the one (Quest/Mission/Task/whatever you think of), they betrayed me, banishing me./they banished them, their biased fears unfounded, as when our container was young, they would have laid down their life for the people that had betrayed them.
Now, the game is changed. Now, we fight back as one. Now, we turn the tide in this prejudicial world. Uproot the now long since corrupted foundations, in order to usher forth a new era of peace./With our powers united as one, no one shall stand in the way of their goal. Not even (old friend, family member, important person, whoever). Now, the tables are turned.
The thing is, I can't do it alone.
Will people once thought to be enemies, be willing to be allies in the oncoming war, that would forever change the lands?
Who/knows,/all/we/know,/is/that/it'll/be/a/tale/to/remember.
How was that for a story starter? Yes a bit choppy, I won't hesitate to admit that, but the general idea is there correct? If not clear, then it's of a tale with the main character housing something powerful. Somethings, as it turns out, unlike what the populace of their home thinks. When the MC first uses the powers of those beings, then they are banished, revealing how corrupt the world is to the MC. So with that in mind, they go about the land, gathering forces, making alliances, to destroy the corrupted roots of their home and the land. The MC, merely wants peace so no one can be judged unfairly, and so there won't be any biases, the people of the land living in harmony. Until the next story starter, everyone!
