Sounds of clanking metal echoed throughout the dimly lit corridors, a flickering light shining on and off from above where a mutilated corpse lie. It was a nasty sight, blood decorating the wall in a crimson which had been hardened to perfection, keeping the pristine look even after leaving its host. The guts which once held a place within this unidentifiable body were strew about the place, almost as though they were streamers set out for a party which never happened; leaving them droopy and filled with the essence of despair.
Suddenly there was a scream, the loud footfalls of heavy boots hitting the ground following this until they abruptly came to an end! It was so quick, almost like the death that would follow a mouse had it been stupid enough to trigger the trap which was set to end its miserable life. A few moments pass, with silence filling the hall a eerie tone setting itself in motion almost as if a beast was ready to strike! That was the moment life had begun however, the annoying buzzing of an automated alarm clocked sounding which brought life to the nearly empty room.
An annoyed grunt dripped from her mouth, an outstretched arm reaching out to tap the button which would only stop this torment but to her dismay she was unable! In fact, the worst thing that could ever happen was exactly what she had to experience at that moment! Getting up…! She shifted in her bed, a feeling of chilled air instantly embracing her as made her way out of the bed and towards the bathroom. After a long while in the shower a slightly less cranky Eris looked at herself in the mirror, gazing over her appearance in a slight amount of disgust. In all honesty she had nothing wrong with physical appearance, eyes a nice pale shade of blue, her hair reaching down to about her breasts while being the color of a rich brown. If you looked more closely at her face, something she'd never allow even if you were the one who owned her affection, you'd notice that her nose curved a little to the left, you would also notice a small scar upon her lip.
It took her no less than a moment to leave, walking out into the room which she'd been assigned where she began to get dressed. Sauntering over to a compartment on the wall she pushed a button, causing the wall to send forward a little dresser like thing before pulling out a few articles of clothing. What she chosen was standard issue, a uniform if you'd like to call it that. Once she'd been dressed Eris moved towards the door, slipping on a pair of work boots before pressing her hand against the holographic projection which indicated door controls; sliding her hand to the right in which the door chose to follow.
