New Year's Kiss

Author's Note: Happy New Year, everyone! (waves happily) So…I wanted to start of the great year with this HonoKoto fic, just because~! Hehe! Hope you all enjoy~!
It's late at night. Everyone has gone to bed after a great time at the festival, including the 9 members of Muse. Each with each other's respective other, kissing and having a great time playing games and then watching the fireworks in the end. Honoka and Kotori had the best time because they were with each other the whole time. They were giggling and laughing with Umi just shaking her head in dismay, wondering when those two love birds are ever going to stop their "shamelessness". To top it all off, Honoka invited Kotori to her house for a sleepover for the rest of the night.
However….as they climbed into bed, none of them can sleep. Honoka just finds herself staring at the ceiling while Kotori is snuggling against her beloved, nuzzling her head against her chest.
"Mmmm…Honoka-chan smells so sweet~!" Kotori says.
"Is it because of the candy apples I ate~?" Honoka asks.
"You bet~! I can't believe you also ate other sweets from the festival too and STILL be full of energy without getting a stomachache! Ehehe~!"
"What can I say~? I never get stomachaches if my beloved Little Bird is there with me~"
Kotori giggles and the two of them face each other, snuggling under the covers once again, intertwining hands while pressing foreheads together.
"Hey, Kotori-chan…" the ginger whispers.
"Yes, Honoka-chan~?"
"I love you~"
"You told me that for the 15th time, silly~" Kotori giggles softly.
"I just felt like telling you that again~" Honoka giggles as well. "Because that's how much I love you. Saying it as much as I want~"
"Then…how about giving me a kiss, too instead of using your words all the time? You've only kissed me a few times, yet you have time to say the three magic words?"
"Awwww, come on, Kotori-chan!" Honoka pouts adorably. "Do I have to really show you how much I love you instead of saying it?"
"Yes," Kotori says quickly. "Words just aren't enough to satisfy me."
"Ahhhh…fine." Honoka gently squeezes her girlfriend's hand, leans in and presses her lips against Kotori's.
The designer returns the favor, wrapping her arms around her beloved's waist and deepens it just a few seconds later. They tilt their heads to get a better angle as tongues dance around each other as soft moans are heard from both of them. The kiss is so sweet…so blissful that Honoka wants more of it. After pulling away for a moment to catch her breath, she dives in for more. Kotori eagerly takes it and both of the girls kiss and kiss like there's no tomorrow. By the time the 5th kiss is done, they pull away, panting heavily to catch their breath.
"That…was….amazing…!" Honoka breathes.
"Y-yeah…totally…!"
They squeeze each other's hands once again, intertwining them and press foreheads together, nuzzling each other's noses in the process. Then, they close their eyes, snuggling against each other once again.
"Good night, Honoka-chan~" Kotori whispers. "I love you~"
"I love you, too, Kotori-chan…" Honoka whispers back. "Happy New Year…"
With one last brief kiss, the two fall fast asleep, dreaming sweet dreams together.
