"But Father

"But Father! You can't possibly thinking of letting her go?!" she heard her brother shouting as she got out of the bathroom. It was so like him she thought. Getting all worked up this early in the morning.

"We have no choice; the old fool thinks that she is ready to go. We cannot stop him." This time it was her father's voice that she heard. The usual cold drawls that she has come to know.

"I wonder what they are talking about." She said as she slowly brushed her hair.

BANG! Someone knocked loudly.

"Hurry up in there! Father wishes to speak to you." She heard her brother from the other side of her bedroom door.

"I'm almost done dear brother. I'll be down in a minute." She said loud enough for him to hear her. She hated this about him. Impatient and bossy, "annoying git." She said in a low voice.

She got up and made her way towards the Dinning hall. Her parents were there, her father at his usual place at the head of the table, her mother to his left and her brother to his right.

"Good morning father, mother." She said kissing them both on the cheeks.

"Sit down. I must talk to you about-" But just before her father could finish what he was saying two owls swooped in from the open window, each carrying what appears to be a thick and heavy enveloped made of yellow parchment.

"Well, looks like you'll find out now." Her father said smirking.

An owl dropped a letter in front of her while the other dropped on in front of her brother.

She took the envelope and looked at it. She saw a purple wax seal bearing a coat of arms; a lion, a snake, a badger and an eagle. She opened it with trembling hands. She started reading it once, twice, three times before it's content had fully registered in her mind. She got in. and she'll be going there a year early. This was a dream come true.

"So." She started "do I get to go?" she asked.

"Of course." Her father answered, a smirk still plastered to his face.

"Oh thank you father!" she said beaming

"Well, then shall we schedule a trip to Diagon Alley now?" her mother asked. She smiled at her and kissed her cheek as she got out of her seat to head to her bedroom. She was too happy to notice the death glares being sent her way by a certain blonde haired boy.

"IM GOING TO HOGWATS!!" she kept shouting in her head. Happy that she can finally go to the place she'd dreamt about for years.
