He entered the realm

The cleric at his side,

He had challenged the gods

And he would not hide.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

His plan was this,

To draw the Queen out

It was there he would beat her

He had not a doubt.

He walked many miles

Fought many fights

The cleric of goodness,

She stood by him with might.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

She fought his fights for him

She nearly did die

Her life drifted away

As if it were the tide.

She called out for help,

He heard her plea.

She whispered the words

"Please, stay with me…"

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

He walked right past her,

He left her there.

And then she was alone,

With her pain to bare

He finally reached her,

With his plans to defeat

The queen of darkness,

Who he wished to beat

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

It was at this very moment,

His brother came in.

He found the cleric

And knew his brothers sin.

Caramon, the brothers name,

Knew the future you see.

He had traveled there before,

And knew what would come to be.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

His brother Raistlin

Was to challenge the goddess.

And he was to win

But return to a world of less.

The world, during the fight

Was to be destroyed.

Mud was all that was left

It was like a great void

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

T'was Caramon's job

To prevent this, he meant

Killing his brother

Would stop this event.

Caramon saw his brother

Limping slowly towards him.

He called out for help

But Caramon ignored him.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

Caramon raised his sword

He meant to attack,

But the goddess apeared

Behind his brothers back.

Caramon told his brother

Of the future and it's tale

Raistlin's expression didn't change

But his face did go pale.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

Quickly, Raist gave Caramon his staff.

To close the portal, he told him to use magic

He then sighed,

For his fate was tragic

Caramon quickly ran

With the cleric in his arms

He left the realm quickly,

Before she came to more harm

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

Caramon raised the staff

But did not know what to do.

He didn't know magic!

He couldn't prevent the view.

Inside the portal,

Or so goes the belief,

Raist was torn to shreds

But with no pain, only relief.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

Caramon cried at the sight,

At his brothers death.

He had saved the world,

But it cost his brother every last breath

Caramon had not yet closed the portal

Raist's spirit was the one

Who aided Caramon do this

And finally it was done.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.

Raistlin, because of his sacrifice

Was granted forever sleep.

To sleep through eternity

Forever in peace.

His name still remembered,

His history of lies,

His golden tinged skin

And his hourglass eyes.
