Garnet groaned as Pearl and Amethyst unfused. Opal had been there last resort...now nothing could stop them-
And then she saw it...in the swirling mists of futures and possibilities...she saw it...and it horrified her...
"At least Steven is safe." Said Pearl. "Hey guys!" shouts Steven suddenly. "Steven!" Shout a horrified Pearl. "What are you doing!? Get out of here!"
But it was already too late...
The ship dropped down...opened up...and let out it's passengers...Lapis...Peridot...and a Jasper...
Pearl and Amethyst pull out their weapons, but are surprised when Garnet tells them to put them away. "Their not here to fight." She explained.
The Gems and Steven looked at her confused. Suddenly the Peridot spoke up. "Attention Crystal gems...and 'the Steven'...we wish to parlay with you!"
Before the Gems can say anything, Peridot activates a pre-recorded holo-message.
The gems jumped back in fright as Yellow Diamonds visage towered over them.
"Right...is this thing on? Are we recording? Right then...to whoever's watching this- Yellow paused...it was obvious the she REALLY didn't want to say whatever came next -I'm just going to get right down to it...to Rose Quartz and her followers...I come to you asking for an alliance against the 'The Banished'...in exchange; you will be all given full pardons for all past crimes...and Earth will be recognized as your Sovereign territory."
And with that..it ended. The gems just gaped. "I foresaw it...and yet it still surprised me." Admitted Garnet.

Not too far away...curious eyes watched the proceedings. He opens up his wrist-com. "My Lord Atriox, you were right...they are attempting an alliance!"
"As I anticipated...Keep watching and tell me what develops..."

AN: I know it says "in-progress" but really I just don't like boxing myself into a corner. For now this is more of a one-shot that I might continue one day...but probably won't.
