I'm bored! Lol so here ya go. Sorry for the randomness in my poems lately. Just so bored, can't think. -lol oh btw, if your wondering, the "Shades of blue" is a phrase used to describe sadness and forever sorrow. My grandma use to always say it to me when I was unhappy or upset about something. Neways, here ya go! Enjoy!

Shades of Blue
I'll never know what its like,
To hold your hand,
Or hold you tight.
To be in love,
Forever more,
Or to open up that closed door.
These shades of blue,
Envelope me,
All I see is you.
Behind this mask it hides my fear
Of what glares at me through the mirror.
Your radiant smile,
Forcing sadness away,
Tears of joy come to stay.
Now you're gone,
Our love is no more.
For now you've closed that open door.
The passage to my heart is a barren space,
A whole through my chest laying to waste.
Now glancing at my disappointing reflection,
Our love was filled with hushed affection.
My fist now meets the glass, it shatters.
Nothing else in my life but you matters.
Even still, now you're gone,
My love for you burns.
And my soul, for you, it still yearns.
My heart, it's in pain and ever so lonely,
The bags forming under my lashes are homely.
Though we will meet again,
I promise you.
Until then,
I'll forever be haunted by these shades of blue.
