It was a nice peaceful evening in the woods: Amaterasu was resting beside her beloved Oki, the other canine nuzzling her fur, keeping her warm with his own; Kurow and Kuni were playing with some of the young Poncle's in the area; Chibiterasu was sitting beside his little lover Kyou, the little black and red god pawing lazily at a stray berry on the ground; and Waka and Issun-
"Y-you bastard! Get back here so I can hit you! H-hey! Stop bouncing around like a freaking cricket!"
"Ah, but mi amore, you're just so cute!"
-were fighting with each other as usual. No one was really paying attention though, they were all used to it, after all. Well, there were only two gods who were paying attention to the usual 'lover's quarrel' between the Poncle and the prophet: Chibi and Kyou.
Why don't they just stop fighting and kiss already? Kyou questioned, looking up at Chibi with bright red, gold speckled eyes.
Chibi opened his mouth to reply with an 'I don't know', but his mother beat him to it. It's their way of showing they love each other, little one, Amaterasu smiled at Kyou and he made a little whine in confusion.
They fight because they love each other? He frowned and looked to Chibi, But Chibi and I love each other, he blushed and Chibi barked in agreement, but we don't fight…
No, no, Kyou, love, you don't understand… she sighed and looked to Oki for help, frowning a little.
Oki sighed and shook his head, looking to the two young gods, "What Amaterasu is trying to say is that everyone has their own way to show that they love and care for each other. Waka and Issun show it differently than you and Chibiterasu, the same with his mother and I." He explained, slow and soft, but strong and confident and Kyou blinked a few times before nodding.
Oh, okay. He smiled, showing his canines and turned to Chibi, nuzzling his cheek. I get it now! But I don't understand why they don't just ki-
"W-Waka!" Everyone turned their heads when they heard Issun squeal and Kyou blushed, while Chibi just smiled, seeing the green Poncle and the prophet kissing.
Nevermind… Kyou whispered, laying his head on his paws, smiling when he saw Chibi's and Ammy's own smiles at the admittedly cute sight.
