Ryoma liked Sakuno's hair. Granted he thought it was too long when he first saw her. Ryoma thought it was cute when Sakuno defended the length of her hair when he teased her. Sakuno's hair was long enough for her to trip over…not that she needed any help with that.
Her clumsiness was another thing that Ryoma found adorable. Sakuno always seemed to drop things or trip over random objects whenever he was around. Ryoma knew that she only dropped things when he was around because he stalked her once.
Actually, he was hiding from Sakuno's loud-mouth friend, Tomoka. As soon as Ryoma heard Tomoka's booming voice, he jumped behind a row of bushes. Yes, Echizen Ryoma was sitting in a row of bushes. Ryoma was rather thankful that Momo-senpai or Kikamaru-senpai didn't find him, or else he would have been teased for centuries. Tezuka-buchou merely raised his eyebrows and continued walking.
Food was good. His mother and cousin started worrying when Ryoma stopped taking lunch to school. Little did they know that Ryoma ate a giant meal every day, made by Sakuno. Ryoma liked lunchtime because 1.) the food was delicious and 2.) he got to spend time with Sakuno.
Ryoma liked Sakuno. Of course, he would never admit that. If he did, Momo-senpai and Kikamaru-senpai would follow him, muttering something about "young love" and about them being "so young". It was simpler to wait and watch. He enjoyed the time he spent with Sakuno, and all the conversations they had. Once she forgot to stutter, Sakuno talked a lot! She was actually quite random. After lunch, he talked to Sakuno until he fell asleep, lulled by her lilting voice. Then, Sakuno would get mad, and leave him alone on the roof. Still, she would always come back, blushing and stuttering again, to remind him that it was time to go to class.
Ryoma wanted to get to know Sakuno better, and spend more time with her. Unfortunately, he would have to wait until all of his senpai's graduated before doing anything about it.
