Why bother with Yuri? That's what he often asked himself. Closing his eyes as he sat in the Inn, watching Yuri and his friends leave through the window. Just thinking of that...upsetting, expression.

"Intend to? I already have."

He was a murderer now, Flynn shouldn't forgive him, he should have had his best friend shipped to a maximum security prison under lock and key. But, Flynn clenched his teeth opening his eyes and staring at the floor, an irritated expression plastered on his normally charming face. What kept him from doing this? His friendship with Yuri? But he was a servant of the empire, never had he thought either of these loyalties would be comprimised...Then again, Yuri was...Yuri.

Friendship, or your duty? Flynn growled, pacing back and forth while the inn keeper eyed him with curiosity, and a slight disdain.

Glaring, Flynn stormed to the back, plopping himself down on the bed closest to the wall on the top row. He sat there, hands on his knees, turning them over so that he could see the palms. In his hands, he held a choice. Yuri trusted him, more than he realized, it would be easy to deliver justice to him, he'd remove a criminal from the empire, perform his duty, and be one step closer to his goal; but, that would cause Yuri to hate him, he'd be a traitor to himself, his ethics, and his friends. Clenching his hands into fists, Flynn had to wonder, which would be worse?

Yuri had always been there for him, and vice versa. But why would he go and do something like this? Something so horrible. His mind searched for an answer, only to find one. Yuri, was Yuri, if someone was doing something he found wrong, he would punish it without remorse, he was thick-headed and stubborn. Even though he acted like a child, he had a good heart, didn't he?

Yes. That much was true, still, does acting on what was right justify murder?

What right did he have to be a judge, jury, and executioner?

He sighed. Flynn needed to talk with Yuri again, tell him why this was wrong, save him from this path of ruin! Flynn smiled sadly, like Yuri would listen. No, no. He shook his head gently, hell would surely freeze over first.

Woah, guise, another slightly depressing story in which the character is faced with something even more depressing, and it also includes tough questions that might make you think! 2DEEP4M3! Dear god, I need to write something funny, soon.
I feel like one of those kid's who writes gothic poetry, and is like "You don't get it, you're need deep enough" Sigh, anyway, hope you enjoyed my little bit of drivel!
