"Bubbles, do you have any... sevens?" Buttercup asked, looking over the cards in her hands mischievously. Defeated, Bubbles handed over the cards. "How do you always know, Buttercup?" Smirking, the green Powerpuff girl said, "I have my ways."

"Cheating is your way, no?" Blossom said, glaring at her sister. Buttercup laid her deck face-down and held a hand over her heart. "I'm offended you would think of me that way!" Even though it was true. Bubbles was distracted today, and was unknowingly giving Buttercup full view of her cards. But her goody two-shoes sister didn't need to know that.

"Blossom, do you have any kings?" Buttercup said. Her other sister, however, wasn't so careless. Adjusting the big bow in her hair, she said, "Go fish, cheater." She glanced at the blue Powerpuff and stated, "Bubbles, it's your turn." No response. She was daydreaming again, and both sisters grew annoyed. "Bubbles!" Buttercup called. "Bubbles!" She had finally broken her out of her trance. "Yes?"

"Your turn." The red Powerpuff declared. Flustered, Bubbles asked, "Blossom, do you have any Boomers?"

"Boomers?!" Buttercup repeated, confused. Then she caught on, saying, "You were thinking about those Rowdyruff boys, weren't you?" Bubbles blushed and lowered her cards. She said nothing, staring at the ground.

"I believe Bubbles has a crush." Blossom said, smirking.

"You're one to talk, Blossom! You know you like Brick." Buttercup said. "Seriously, am I the only one with sense around here?" She ignored the four eyes squinting at her from across the table. Reorganizing the cards in her hands, she looked up. "What?" she questioned, uncomfortable with the attention on her. Her sisters said nothing, so she went back to rearranging. One king, one ace, two threes. She lied them down, adding to her stack of pairs.

"You and Butch have a mutual liking-each-other thing, no matter how much you deny it." Bubbles finally broke the silence.

"Mm-hmm." Blossom hummed, agreeing with her blonde sister.

"No! You lie!" Buttercup shouted, pointing at the accused sister. Her red face gave her away, though. "Aha! You do like him! I knew it!" The blue Powerpuff girl said, standing up and skipping around the table. The embarrassed girl stood up and slammed the remaining cards on the table, causing it to shake. "I win!" Buttercup yelled, and stormed off. She ignored her sister's laughing as she climbed the stairs.

She didn't like that idiotic Rowdyruff boy. They were rude and gross. Then again, Butch liked green, like she did. And he really wasn't that bad when she thought about it. She laid back on the bed, smiling. So what if she liked him? A crush wasn't that harmful.
