Elijah was born to protect and shield his younger siblings. He was the hand that was always extended to help all those around him. That hand that was always taken for granted and abused by those around him. Yet he always dusted himself off and once again lent out his hand.
Always getting stuck doing things the proper way… Always the in the dark to grieve and his heart always filled with sorrow. He always pushed all his emotions aside to do what is best. Always seeing the well being of other…
He was always torn by desire to find love and his loyalty to his brother whom he believes will repent. The twist of event always gets the best of fate. The list of sins both his and his siblings grow longer and longer. The more he denies himself happiness.
That is way he had to let her go… He wanted both love and family… but family is always first and love second. Love in their lives come and go. So why must he allow such thing to entire when it'll only torture him later on…
He may regret it now... He wishes that sorrow would no longer dwell in his heart… To have the one he loves in arms… but she will always be in his hands reach… so close yet so far way… This is why he should never extend a helping hand… His heart is always led to sorrow and pain. He will always cradled in the hands of sorrow.
