"Wait a moment, Kaoru."

Hikaru reached out for his brother's tie, straightening the knot with a few practiced, easy tugs. Kaoru sighed quietly and muttered under his breath, with a hint of annoyance: "Thanks, mother."

Hikaru paused, before starting to chuckle merrily. "Isn't that Kyouya-senpai's role?"

Kaoru snorted, a mischievous grin gracing his handsome features. "True."

Tentatively at first, Kaoru lay his own hands over his brother's that were still holding on to his tie. "We're one special little family." Kaoru said quietly, watching the small flicker dance in Hikaru's golden eyes closely and absently stroking his brother's soft hands.

They gazed at each other blankly for a few moments.

A warm summer breeze found its way into their room through a half-open window, rustling their light, brown hair gently. The sound of the heavy curtains rustling, being moved by the wind's invinsible hand sank into the silence of the room like a stone thrown into a calm, deep lake.

An eyebow twitched, followed by a broad grin making a pair of soft, thin lips stretch and the sound of one of the boys snorting.

Hikaru was the first one to crack up, cackling madly, wheezing with the effort to breathe.

The other one watched him idly, grinning to himself.

"Th-that would make Tamaki his husband -" Hikaru managed to stammer before he burst out laughing once more.

"Well, when two people love each other very much ..." Kaoru mused, making his brother laugh even harder.

Eventually, Hikaru managed to calm down. Wiping away a few tears from the corners of his eyes, he straightened up and walked over to his brother quickly. He draped one arm around his neck easily and pulled Kaoru closer. "You're all the family I need, Kaoru."

He was smiling brightly, and there was both amusement and affection in his voice.

A second of swift consideration passed before Kaoru's tongue darted out to wet his lips. He whispered quietly; "Show me."

Without hesitating, Hikaru replied easily; "Sure", before leaning in and closing the remaining distance between them.

A few slim rays of golden sunlight shone into the room, carressing their bodies with their warmth and illuminating their slim figures . They were surrounded by a seemingly ethereal glow, the two brothers that held on to each other tightly, hands clinging to a pair of uniform-clad shoulders, a different hand buried in the other's brown hair. Their limbs, but also their minds entwined - two boys that bathed in such affectionate love for each other that the thought alone that this could be unrighteous seemed downright absurd.

Hikaru moaned quietly as Kaoru's tongue stroked his own, devouring him hungrily.

Kaoru grinned against his brother's mouth, pulling him even closer as he let his hands roam over Hikaru's back slowly.

Yes, this was all they would ever need, those untouchable beings that radiated such a beautiful aura of unreachable affection and tenderness.

End.
