The whole point of this story is that there are to many meanings for words in the English language… I'm surprised we each don't need a personal translator who follows us around…

Draco blinked, looking in a decidedly confused way towards the emerald eyed boy standing in front of him. The request made no sense. It was strange enough that the Potter boy had seem slightly happy at the thought of a detention with a Malfoy, but then to ask to play a game? What was he thinking?

"Ok Potter, I'll play your little game, if you tell me what the game is first." Draco smirked, hoping that the thoughts on the other boy's mind were relatively perverted. He was in for a shock.

"Ok, fine. The object of the game is to find as many different meanings of words as possible. First person to run out of meanings loses!" Harry said, childish grin spreading across his face.

"So, what's the first word?" Draco asked, slightly curious.

"Out."

"Hmm… The dark forest Out-of-bounds to students." Draco grinned; he had a feeling this was going to be fun.

"Lets go out and look at the stars."

"The troops fanned out."

"My parents went out for the evening."

"He threw his back out."

"Is it snowing out?"

"The muggle went out to play." Harry blinked. Draco had said that with a lot of disappointment.

"They drained the water out of the pipe."

"The supplies have run out."

"The policeman picked out the thief in the crowd."

"The fire has gone out."

"That player better play the game out."

"The hall was decked out for the dance."

"Griffindor was out to win at the last match."

"The drug put Weasley out for two hours, didn't it?"

"The new car models have come out."

"The paper came out earlier today."

"The moon came out."

"You should speak out."

"They voted the incompetent minister out."

"The movie was giving out free passes. I got two."

"Get out. As in the phrase people use in disbelief."

"Will you go out with me? That's the reason I got the movie passes." Draco blushed as he said this. Harry didn't believe him.

"Get the movie passes out and show me them. Prove that you mean it." Draco pulled the movie passes out of his robe pocket.

"See, I mean it. I was hoping to find out if you liked me," Draco said timidly, turning a deeper shade of crimson.

"We can stop emphasising the word now… And yeah, sure I'll go out with you, I'm glad you asked." Harry blushed again.

A few hours later Harry and Draco walked out of the movies holding hands. Fan girl squees were heard from all around, followed by random shoutings of "CUTE!" Arriving back at school, they walked quietly though the entrance hall, hoping not to attract attention. They crept to the dungeons, only to find Snape giving them more detentions. Oh well, that just meant more games, ones they both definitely considered more fun than the game from earlier.

This was random and my first story… tell me what you thought of it… I don't care if you hate it, just tell me… and be thankful that out was the word that I chose. Up is worse…
