I can't sleep!

A short and thunderous tale featuring the Hamada brothers. Hiro is having trouble falling asleep and seeks his brother Tadashi for comfort. Not the greatest summary, though this is a short story I had a few ideas for after watching Big Hero 6 for the first time. I apologize for the shortness. also this is the first Fanfiction I've uploaded on this account. Hope you like it! :)

Hiro clutched his blanket as another roar of thunder erupted outside of his and Tadashi's bedroom window. The teen winced every time an aggressive ripple sounded from the dark night sky. Hiro hid underneath his blanket in a panic, though it didn't silence the wails coming from outside. As far as Hiro knew his older brother, Tadashi, sounded as though he was fast asleep! How could a sane person sleep through such frightening weather? Well Tadashi was a nerd after all.

Hiro gulped and quickly flung the blanket off of himself and walked towards the thin walls that separated his and Tadashi's beds. What if I accidentally wake him up? Was what went through the young Hiro's mind, though his thoughts were interrupted as a loud crackle pierced through the sky again. Hiro slid the wall open to reveal Tadashi sprawled out underneath his blanket fast asleep and snoring quietly. Hiro gulps and stood beside Tadashi's bed to gently shake him awake, "Tadashi?" Hiro whispered to his older brother.

Tadashi made a low groan - which didn't exactly answer Hiro.

Hiro sniffed hard, trying to hold back tears as the thunder grew louder. Without waiting for an answer he scrambled underneath Tadashi's blanket in fear and wept quietly. It was only when Hiro had accidentally kicked Tadashi that he awoke, "H-Hiro? What- what're you doing?" the elder pulled the blanket up to see his brother curled up in a ball with his face hidden. Hiro slowly lifted his head to face Tadashi, "Pull the blanket back down..." Hiro said weakly.

"How long have you been lying here? Are you.. Crying?" Tadashi tiredly wiped his own eyes as he looked at Hiro curling into himself, "What?! NO! Anyway shut up, I'm trying to sleep here.." Hiro grumbled and pulled the blanket over himself again. Tadashi shrugs and leant down under the blanket to kiss his younger brother's forehead,

"Sleep tight, Hiro." was what Hiro heard before the gentle voice beside him was replaced with light snoring. Hiro found himself clinging to Tadashi as he tried to sleep again. This time he was more successful and fall into a deep sleep with his head laying against Tadashi's larger chest.
