Ron Weasley and Harry Potter , In their 6th yr., were walking down the Gryfiindor hallways one day when Harry surprised Ron with shocking news.
"What!" cried Ron.
"Harry how could you!?" he whined.
"I though you would be happy!" said Harry.
"Happy? Harry you set me up on a blind date. Without my permission. You know how I feel about blind dates!" said Ron.
"Sorry. Gosh Ron, Its not like you've been getting dates on your own!"said Harry.
"Yeah, because I don't WANT a date Harry! If I wanted to be on a date right now, trust me Id be on one!" yelled Ron.
"You know darn well that that's a total lie."said Harry.
"really?"said Ron
"yep, and why? Cause of this! Your attitude!" said Harry.
"There is NOTHING wrong with my attitude. I like it just fine!" retorted Ron.
"Yeah? Well guess what? Women DON'T! Even Hermione agrees with me on that!"said harry.
"Hermione disagrees with everything I say or think so I could really care less if she doesn't like my attitude. But I'm still NOT going on that date!"
"Why?"
"Because she could be hideous like…like…. Millicent Bulstrode!"said Ron.
"And so what if she is? It doesn't matter! Its whats on the inside that counts! God Ron don't be so shallow!" Harry yelled.
"I'm not – "
Harry cut him off. He could see clearly that this wasn't going anywhere. So even though he knew it was wrong he decided that he'd bribe Ron. After he had already set up the date and he couldn't show up for Ron because he was already seeing Hermione.
"If you go on this date and your not shallow, rude, and don't have a bad attitude I'll pay you 18 galleons and 7 sickles!" Harry said.
Ron seemed interested. "Really?"
"Promise"said Harry.
"FINE, But this is the only time!"
With that they walked off to their separate classes.
