Harry's P.O.V
It was breakfast time, when the mail came through. I knew what was coming, and so did Ron. We had just crashed Mr. Weasley's car into the Whomping Willow, and I was positive mum was sending me a howler. Ron's owl came first and his howler was from his mother.
RONALD WEASLEY, HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR! I AM ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTED. IF YOU STEP ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE, WE'LL SEND YOU STRAIGHT HOME! Oh and Ginny dear, congratulations on getting into Gryffindor, your father and I are so proud.
Ginny looked embarrassed, but her face was nothing compared to Ron's. He looked at Hermione and me with wide eyes and a scared face.
"Oh calm down Ron, that's nothing compared to what mine will be like." I told him.
"Speaking of which…" Hermione announced, pointing towards Hedwig, my family's owl.
"Here we go." I told them. As I opened it, I was surprised to hear my father's voice instead of my mothers.
"HARRY POTTER THAT WAS TRULY INSPIRED. CRASHING A CAR INTO A TREE. EVEN PADFOOT COULDN'T COME UP WITH THAT! YOUR LIVING UP TO THE MARUADER BLOOD THAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR VEINS."
I sat at the table trying not to smile, as Ron looked at the howler with disgusted.
"James no! Your not supposed to be encouraging him, he is in so much trouble! Could be heard in the background from mum.
"LILY DON'T GET IN THE WAY OF HIS INHERITANCE!" Dad yelled at her. It then ripped its self up, smiling at Harry.
"Harry I hate you." Ron said to me.
"Oh don't you worry Ron, my mum will be sending me a Howler as well." I told him. And sure enough, the next morning, my mum sent a howler.
The mail was arriving again, and the whole Gryffindor table was buzzing with the excitement of my mum sending me a howler.
"Look Harry! There it is!" Ron said smiling. Hermione didn't say anything, but she had a big smile on her face, glad to she I was getting the punishment I deserved.
"HARRY POTTER, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVE THE ODASITY TO STEAL MR. WEASLEY'S CAR, THEN CRASH IT INTO THE WHOMPING WILLOW."
" LILY, DON"
"JAMES, HARRY IS GETTING THE PUNISHMENT HE DESERVES. HARRY POTTER DON'T YOU DARE PULL ANOTHER STUNT LIKE THAT, OR YOU WILL COME HOME!"
The whole room burst into laughter from hearing dads interruption. I'm pretty sure I even saw Malfoy try to stifle a smile. Hermione and Ron were laughing their heads off, as well as the rest of Gryffindor table.
