Better With Time- A Percabeth One-shot

Luke's gone, Thalia's with the Hintrs of Artemis, and Percy, well, Percy's Percy. My whole life is messed up. Seeing Luke die right infront of me got me good. Down to the core. I know he went to Elisyum. Thank the gods for Percy, though. He's really great to me. And he helps em when I need it. Wich is pretty much all the time.

"It's okay, I'm here. Just let it go." He'd tell me while I'd be crying into his chest, allowing my self to be held tightly. After about a month of this, I went to see Juniper, Grover's girlfriend.

"Let it go, Annabeth," She'd tell me. "You have little, and I mean little, brothers and sisters that love you! Spend time with them."

"Yeah, I know. And I do. They all just remind me of my time with them." I explained to her. "I love them all, I really do! But..."

"Look, spend some time with Percy on the beach, swim a little, relax, tell him all about it. He'll help you, I know it." So, I took the tree nyph's advice. Percy and I spent the whole next day at the beach.

"I miss him, a lot, Percy."

"So I've heard. What do you miss about him most?" He asked.

"His humor, how he would always easily steal a chocolate bar for me and Thalia."

"Ah. Son of Hermes stuff?"

"Yup. I mean, it's just like, like..." crap, what was it like? "Heart ache." I decided. A second of silence. Three, five, seven, then, "I may not know a lot about this 'heart ache' stuff, but I've heard that time heals it best." He told me. "Better with time..." I mumbled. Then it hit me. "Better with time by Leiona Lewis?"

"Yes, ma'am. I did bring my ipod with me." I love how he can just look at my face and know what I mean. He took out his neon blue ipod and matching earphones. He also knew my favorite song: Better with time by Leiona Lewis. He put one of the earphones in my ear, the other in his and played the song. Yup, thats all I needed: time. It'll all get better with time...

So, what do you think? Its my first, on fanfic. So I hope you enjoyed and please, please, please, puh-lease review. My friends always did when they read the stories in my note books and I liked to hear there (is that the right 'there?') opinions, AND I want to hear yours! SOOOO, will ya?
