-DiSCLAiMER: I, unfortunately, do not own the characters…this is my second fanfic…my first wasn't my best…lemme know what you think! ( please be kind!)

Sleep, that's the only thing on her mind as she climbed into bed and pulled her comforter over her head. She'd been awake for over forty hours, working on a case when the captain finally sent everyone home for some much needed rest. Although she had protested at first, she was happily on her way to a deep peaceful slumber, when the loud ringing of her cell phone broke through the quiet calmness in her apartment. Furious that she was disturbed, she sat up in bed and glared at the annoying electronic. Not even bothering to check her caller I.D. she flipped it open. "Benson." She almost yelled into the phone. "Hey Liv it's me, do you mind buzzing me up?" She hung up her phone seriously debating what to do. Warily, Olivia climbed out of bed and made her way through her apartment to her intercom. She pressed the button that granted Elliot access into her building, unlocked the door, then went back to bed.

Several minutes later, there was a knock at her door. Absolutely refusing to get up yet again, she yelled loud enough for him to hear, "its OPEN!" She heard the door open and then shut again. She listened as Elliot walked around her apartment. She smiled as the sound grew nearer, and grinned when there was a dip on the other side of the bed. She rolled over and came face to face with blue eyes. She laughed. "Hello Elliot." He smiled back at her. "Hey Liv, what are you up to?" She sent him a look with a raised eyebrow. "Well, I was trying to get some sleep after working for almost two days straight, but some people," she poked him, " don't think sleep is important. They think that if you drink enough coffee or do enough push-ups then you'll be fine." Elliot smiled and replied, "Only Munch's coffee." Which caused both to start laughing. Olivia rolled back on to her other side with her back to Elliot, determined to sleep. Elliot wanting to find sleep just as badly as she did, slung an arm around her waist, pulled her against his chest and intertwined their fingers. Giving her a soft kiss on the back of her neck, he whispered in her ear. "Night Liv." She gently squeezed his fingers in response. Elliot was quickly following Olivia into a deep peaceful slumber.
