Why?
Why do you hate me?
What have I done
to be so despised?
What crime have I
committed against you?
Other than taking
my first breath of life?
I can't choose
how I was born.
I couldn't change
who I was then.
Stuck in the middle
that's what I am
Half elf; Half human,
yet neither.
Despised and abandoned;
thrown away at birth.
No one wants me.
I am alone.
I cry in the darkness.
No one hears me.
You hear my forlorn pleas,
indifferent.
You hate me
because of what I cannot help.
You attack me
because I am helpless.
You brought me
into this world,
Yet despise
my existence.
You kill my people;
murder my kind.
It's your fault we're here,
yet you massacre us.
You hate us,
that's why I hate you.
Despicable creatures.
I hate humans.
Using my sister and I
to kill more of my people.
I want it to stop.
I want the pain to stop.
All you humans
are all the same.
You can't love me.
I can't trust you.
But some of you
are different...
right?
