Summary: Blaine doesn't understand why Sugar called him "compact" at the Valentine's party, so he turns to his boyfriend for help. Absolutely no point other than fluff.
Rated: K
"Kurt...What did Sugar mean by that?"
Kurt looked up from his homework to see his boyfriend staring at him inquisitively, one hand under his chin and the other scratching at his loose curls. His essay had clearly been forgotten.
"By what?"
"'Cute and Compact'," he said, his eyebrows arching slightly.
"Well, you're cute...and compact." Kurt turned back to his French homework and continued writing his journal entry for the day. His teacher had given them two weeks to keep a journal completely in French, and Kurt was finding that he rather enjoyed writing something that nobody in his family would be able to read.
"But I don't understand." Kurt twisted his face toward the younger boy, smiling slightly. "I'm not that short, am I?"
Kurt laughed and moved closer to Blaine, giving up trying to complete the assignment for now.
"To be completely honest, you really aren't that short." Kurt pulled Blaine's hand away from his chin and laced their fingers together.
"Then why does everyone call me hobbit? Or compact?" He grimaced when he spoke the word and Kurt refrained from giggling.
"Well, look at it this way. You're shorter than the average male height."
"But not by much!" He whined. Kurt pulled him closer, entertained by this adorably endearing side of Blaine.
"I'm not done. Some of the Glee girls are taller than you-"
"Brittany is just tall, okay? Not my fault!"
"Like I was saying, before I was so rudely interrupted." Kurt kissed Blaine on the forehead and felt him wrap his arms around his thin waist. "And before you transferred, I was the shortest guy in Glee. Sam was pretty close, though. And we're leaving out Artie, seeing as nobody is really sure how tall he'd actually be. The point is, I was the shortest, and yet you're still shorter than me."
"I can't help it-"
"Honey, it isn't a bad thing. In fact, I love it. You're my insanely cute, adorably compact boyfriend." Blaine smiled up at Kurt, his eyes shining and his smile bright, before he captured the older boy's lips for his own.
I'd ask you to review, but I recently discovered that hardly anyone reads this part anyways. So my request will either go unnoticed or ignored. For those who do review, just know that you are freaking awesome. People like you are the reason I still post on this site :D
