There was one thing that REALLY disturbed Ranma. The newest phrase most popular amongst Nerimians as a greeting was… 'Ranma, prepare to die!' This meant he never knew if a new challenger had appeared or if it simply was two Nerimians saying 'hello' in their own twisted way.
"Ranma, prepare to die!"
"Ranma, prepare to die to you too!"
'Yep, just a simple greeting.' What's worse was that most of his rivals started the fights the same way. And since they started with a rather lethal attack that specific phrase had been used as an early warning.
"Ranma, prepare to die!"
"Hiii"
'More greetings.' It was time to come up with a new warning, or actually developing a danger sense. 'Heh, right. Danger senses are just humbug.'
"Ranma, prepare to die!"
-SLAM-
"Uhm, Ranma?"
"Yeah?" -groan-
"Why didn't you dodge? I warned you after all."
"Have you heard how the people around us greet each other? Dammit that hurt."
"Not really."
"Ranma, prepare to die!" was heard sailing in from a passer-by.
"Oh."
"Ryouga, come up with a new warning until next time, deal?"
"Deal."
"Now, wanna spar?"
"Anytime."

A/N; I just had to get this out of my system. It's a spin-off from something mentioned in passing in a fanfic I've read, sadly I don't remember which it is.
Oh, btw, I don't even imaging owning Ranma ½. Would be neat to own some dvds or manga though.
