Three poems that are based on the rebellion in Catching Fire. Just wanted to share these for no particular reason.

Hey - has everyone seen the movie by now? :D It was the most accurate book-to-movie adaption I have ever seen. Just... perfection.

Anyway, enjoy!

Rich blood, hot with rage,

Crowds press, to the stage.

Smoking feathers, black wings,

Golden bodies, poison stings.

Hoarse screams from the mass,

Palms pound on the glass.

Bombs rain, coal burns,

Whistle sounds, head turns.

Hands joined, Victors play,

Spread your wings, Mockingjay.

Tears for the broken,

Tears for the few.

Tears for the many,

Tears for you.

My blood will be a balm

To wash away the tears.

Wipe away the pain,

Take away the fears.
