Harry heard the keys in the door and braced himself to tell Draco the thing that has been weighing on his mind for the past couple of weeks. Draco walked in, put his keys on the hook, hung up his jacket, and put his shoes in the closet. For him, today was just another normal day. But for his husband, this was the day he finally found the courage to tell Draco what was on his mind.
"Hey love. How was your day today?" asked Draco while looking through the mail.
"Fine. Yours?" asked Harry tensely.
"Oh, good, nothing interesting happened at the shop today. Although we did get an extra order of that- what? Why are you looking at me that way?"
"Draco?"
"Uh, yes Harry?"
"Sometimes I get lonely here. You know, I work from home now, and well, we've been married for almost two years now and well . . ." Harry explained to Draco cautiously.
"Harry, what are you saying?"
"Draco. I want to get a puppy."
