Patience's Hard Lesson

It was such a dull time in life that gave
that pretty little smile
to her face.

A lesson hard leant, but patience
was a lesson so aptly taught
that only the best passed through.

Time moved so slow, but her hard-lesson
took that time to learn

And she had come out better
in the end.
