Mr. And Mrs. Jones

(A.N: I normally ship Apriltello, but I decided to write this for the TMNT International Day of Tolerance, hosted by FlashyFashionFraud on Deviantart, in which all TMNT fans are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and explore things they normally don't like. Well, I don't own TMNT. I hope you like this. Enjoy, and Happy TMNT Tolerance Day!)

The day had finally come. After five wonderful years together, April O'Neil would become Mrs. Casey Jones. They had been through a lot together, from fighting malicious mutants and alien robots, to taking on the Shredder himself, yet their love had stayed strong. It hadn't been easy to realize her feelings for him. He seemed cocky, arrogant, and full of himself at first, but over time she realized he really did have a heart of gold and would do anything for her, just like she would do anything for him.

April was wearing her mother's old wedding dress, a beautiful white dress that was short in the front but had a very long train covered with tons of ruffles, lace, and white rosettes. Her father Kirby O'Neil proudly walked her down the isle and to the altar. They embraced before she went to join her groom.

April was also glad to know that four of her closest friends were in the pews watching on her big day. Donnie had luckily created devices for his brothers and Splinter that would temporarily make them look human. He wouldn't want to miss this day for anything. True, he would have preferred it if he had ended up by April's side, but he knew what jealousy could do to people from hearing stories about Master Splinter and the Shredder. So he decided to accept April's decision and let her go. If she was happy, then so was he. He had a feeling Jones would take care of her, and felt joy as he watched his friends exchange the words that would unite them for all time. And who knew? Maybe there still was someone for him out there.

At last all the vows were said and the minister told the happy couple, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." The guests cheered as Casey and April pressed their lips together and exchanged a kiss of true love.

All of their friends and family rushed to congratulate them as they left the cathedral. Raph, Casey's best man, thumped him on the back and said, "I'm happy for you, man." April was hugged by her father, Splinter, Donnie, Mikey, Irma, Murakami, and many other well-wishers. Miwa and Irma, April's bridesmaids, fought over who got to catch the bouquet, but were both shocked when Mikey ended up catching it.

April ended up in Casey's arms again as they went in the back of the limo. As they rode towards the reception April was so glad she found Casey, and knew their love was strong enough to survive anything.
