Made just because Fullmetal-Smarty pissed me off with his/her gay story (Harry Potter and the Fullmetal Alchemist) that made no sense whatsoever e.e. And his/her insistence that a story doesn't have to make any sense. So here's my FMA-HP story! (written before end of series-now that I've seen the end of the series, I have no intention to change it. At all.)

Ed stood in the middle of an unknown place. His hair was uncharacteristically out of its braid, flowing against his shoulders in an angelic manner, his eyes wide with horror.

He panicked, and looked wildly around, turning his body this way and that.

Unfamiliar

That was the only thing to describe it. Unfamiliar; horribly, horribly unfamiliar. He knew the countryside of Amestris well enough to know that this wasn't it.

Suddenly, he felt like a very young and small child who had lost his mom in the supermarket. His breathing shortened to small rasps and he felt his knees go weak. All rational thought left his mind, wiped blank like a dry-erase board.

The last thing he remembered was lying on the ground, gaping hole penetrating his chest, before all went black and he ended up here. Wherever 'here' was.

His mind felt hazy and dull, and he himself felt weak, pitiful and stupid. He fell to his knees, his legs no longer able to hold up his terrified self.

Bearing this was too much for his 16-year-old mind to handle and he fell to his right, and the flame that was his mind was doused quicker than a torch in a bucket full of water.

Ed opened his eyes, blinking rapidly to clear his vision.

"You're awake," A relieved voice said.

Ed sat up and turned his head, to see a woman with bushy brown hair and blue eyes. She smiled kindly at him, bustling around the room in an effort to keep herself busy.

"We were worried," She said.

Ed stared at her, only vaguely registering the 'we'. She moved quickly, straightening small things, and glancing at him, as if worried he'd collapse.

"Mum," A girl around his age with the same bushy hair as the woman but with brown eyes said. "Is he—oh, hello, I'm Hermione Granger, and this is my mum. We were beginning to think you'd never wake up and of course, we're glad you are now," All this was said very fast.

Ed stared at her too, then looked down at his hands, relived to see that he still wore his gloves and long sleeved shirt.

"Well, thank you for your hospitality, but I need to get going." He stood, only to fall to his knees and gasp at the sharp pain that ran jagged up his right leg.

"Are you OK?" Hermione immediately asked.

"Fine," he said coolly, standing up this time without any pain. Seeing his cat on a nearby chair he seized it, and quickly put it on. Without another thought, the blond slid past the two brunettes and out the door, not even sparing a glance at the TV he passed before opening the front door and striding out.
