I honestly wish I could say that this was a normal day at the Autobot base, but it wasn't. All of the Autobots except Ratchet had just gotten back from a Deceptican fight, which they seemed to have lost. They were beaten badly, not one of them didn't have scars or dings in them.
While Ratchet worked on the Autobots individaully Jack, Raf and myself stayed with our guardians. The air had a bitter taste to it, anyone could feel it, even those in town most likely. Then again I'm probably exagerasting, it just felt like it to me because being a empath and an expath and all. Everyone's emotions were all over the place. Arcee was angry, Bumblebee was depressed, Bulkhead was disgusted with himself, Ratchet was worried, and Optimus, oh dear God! Don't let me get started on him! It was driving me crazy! I tried again and again to make Bulkhead feel better, but everything I did got everyone else annoyed, so I stopped talking.
Key word: talking.
I walked over to the large stereo systen Agent Fowler brought us and placed an instrumental CD in, grabbed a micraphone and a stand and placed it infront of the Autobots and other humans.
"Miko! This is no time for your stupid rock music!" Arcee growled at me. I looked her in the optic, but didn't say anything, just stood in front of the micraphone and counted the beats into the song, then sang.

As the last note faded so did the noise that had just filled the air. Absolute silence.
Optimus broke it.
"Thank you Miko. That song was very inspiring." He turned to the other Autobots who were either standing or sitting up a little bit straighter. "We cannot let this one defeat hold us down." He continues to go on about how they aren't going down without a fight and I felt the mood change little by little, until they were all feeling ready to train harder and work as a team.
Mrs. Darby came over to me a little later when everyone was busy doing something else and put an arm around my shoulders.
"Good job honey. Your getting better at this." She praised. I smiled.
"I sure hope so. We're going to need all the happy aura we can get for later."
