So this is my first attempt at Mimato. I hope you like it guys!
For those of you wondering what happened to my Digimon fic "Digimon Adventure Tri"... I decided to re-write it with a headcanon I heard people talking about, meaning that I didn't come up with it and stuff. I will still keep that fic up but it won't be updated again - ever. I'm sorry :(

Strange Thoughts
"I'm breaking-up with you!"
Those words should have hurt Yamato more. But they didn't. Things between him and Sora were rocky for a couple of years now. Him catching her while she attempted to flirt with Taichi (who was busily practicing soccer) and then ending up being the one who was dumped was nothing new. They had been on-and-off for years (mostly because Sora couldn't figure out what she really wanted) and by the time she did, Taichi was already dating someone else, a girl he spoke so lovingly of that Yamato felt happy for him. So, he simply stared at Sora as she stomped out of their school's grounds, their other friend, Tachikawa Mimi, showing up soon after with a questioning look on her face.
Now, things with Mimi were never exactly clear. He didn't remember ever paying her much attention but now, seeing her in a new light (or was it the right light?) made him wonder why he never did. Sure, she was a bit bossy and a bit annoying, as well as fashion-obssessed and a bit snobby but those things were things that made Mimi. The child of Purity.
So why was she suddenly so oddly appealing?
