A/N: Had to post something before Valentine's Day ended over here. Hope everyone had a good one!

They were on the playground when it all started.
Everyone knew The Dare that you always do when you're young, and who else to dare but Kenny?
"Truth or dare?" The kid who asked was someone insignificant that would go on to become a grocery bagger or something along those lines.
"Dare." came the hooded boy's answer, his chin stuck up defiantly.
"I dare you to kiss... Clyde."
Clyde blanched, fear apparent on his slightly pudgy face. "I-I-I..." Kenny just shrugged, crawling over on the commonplace blanket of snow to put his face in Clyde's. Using a mittened hand, he pulled his hood away from his face, exposing his slight chapped and flower-shaped lips to the icy wind.
The other party just stared at him before his eyes began to drift close almost involuntarily. His left eyebrow was slightly quirked before relaxing an leaning in. It was a chaste kiss, but, like the start of every cliche, it was the beginning to something strange.

Sitting on a warped bench, Kenny regarded the teen before him. Shifting from foot to foot, Clyde's face flushed slightly in the bitter breeze. Or so he would say when they tried to recount the tale.
Flicking one of many pieces of lint off of his worn jacket, Kenny made sure to keep his gaze from meeting Clyde's. "What makes you think I don't have a Valentine?"
Clyde's pacing froze, and he went stock still. Kenny chuckled to himself before looking up, a dazzling smile on his nearly angelic face. "Nah, I don't. As long as you don't believe in sex on the first date, I'm down with it." Clyde nodded energetically, face beaming.

A hushed silence fell over the crowd at South Park's High-school Valentine's Day Gala. Girls were frozen in their dates' arms, the boys just watching with their jaws to their knees. Clyde blushed again, a bit nervous at being the center of attention. Kenny, however, drank it all up.
He gave a regal queen's wave, smiling that gorgeous smile and pinching any passerby's cheeks. His thin arm was looped through Clyde's slightly thick one, a pretty satin scarlet glove covering it. The arm was connected to a non-too-surprisingly thin body, which was covered in a form-fitting dress to match the gloves.
His shaggy blond hair had been curled and placed on top of his head, fashioned by none other than his date. Ten minutes in and everyone was still staring as Clyde and Kenny wandered around the gymnasium, arms linked tightly just as many couples had been. They conversed with Stan and his date Wendy, accompanied by Stan's almost-date Kyle. Soon, a slow song came on, and both people involved in this little stunt wanted to say that it was magical; as if all the planets had aligned or some other cosmo shit.
But in all actuallity, the sound system backfired before the song started, leaving most almost deaf. When the song started, Kenny complied to Clyde's slightly bashful dominance and assumed the girl's position, his hands coming to rest on his companion's hips. They swayed side to side as the song continued, drawing people's eyes even though they really weren't trying to.
One of the taller's slightly pudgy fingers came up to push a lock of blond hair out of Kenny's eye, a smile forming on both's lips.

And it was much later, once they had abandoned their heels and dress shoes for casual clothes that Kenny and Clyde gazed up to the stars in the cloudless sky. Reciting constellations that he remembered from his childhood, Clyde pointed them out to Kenny before he fell asleep.
And as his own eyes drifted closed on their own accord like that time when they were younger, Clyde planted a soft kiss on Kenny's brow before he slept as well.
