Disclaimer: I don't own Wreck-It Ralph
(The following is all posted from my Tumblr; I don't feel like majorly editing so yeah...)
I don't even know where I'm going with this Kthnxbai *floats away*
(Line to include:'To him, she really was a work of art.')
Summary: "Just look at that high definition."
"Seriously, That's your wife?"
"Yep." Felix nodded for what might've been the umpteenth time that night.
Tapper's was having a get together, welcoming the newly plugged game 'Top Quest' to the neighborhood, and being the friendly hero he was Felix was first on the list to be invited.
So far he'd seen the Nicelanders getting on quite well with the NPCs, Ralph and Vanellope sharing conversation with Necromancer Allen (the bad guy) Wizard Bret (his good brother), and his lovely Tamora Jean shooting darts with Archer Diana.
They were all getting along so nicely that when Felix spotted the Knight, their main hero it seemed, he decided there was no time like the present to make a new friend.
Twenty minutes later, the handyman was wishing he'd stayed with his wife.
It wasn't that he wasn't used to compliments about his wife, the male Nicelanders had eyes after all. Every male character in the GCS had eyes.
She was a dynamite gal, no question, with her swaying hips, daring smirk, big, smoky blues, firm grasp, spontaneous—-
A loud whistle popped the 8-bit hearts around his head.
Again, It was from the Knight.
"Space Marine, you said? She is definitely outta' this world."
Felix never knew he had a button until the Knight had managed to push it. If anyone was going to compliment his Lady's high definition, it was going to be him!
Honey-glows of an entirely different nature started filling his face.
"Tiny, She's perfect."
…
...
It was then that Felix realized the Knight hadn't even looked past her face (something else bubbled in his heart when he thought, 'He better not have, the Cad.') since he'd pointed her out. It was all physical for this guy…
He didn't see her inner beauty; the eager glint in her eye to set up another game, the way her red lips bit themselves in concentration when she readied another dart, the playful scowl when her competitor shot just as well, the hidden real scowl when she'd hear her husbands company…
The coy look over the shoulder that repeatedly promised secret kisses and snuggles later, impressed with her husband getting all riled up.
Of course Felix had seen it; the whole night, every night & day they'd been together, he was blissfully aware of her.
To him, she was a work of art.
To Knight Elis, she was a work of high definition.
And suddenly, Felix wasn't as steamed as before. Grabbing his root beer and odering another he hopped down from the stool and grinned up at the Knight.
"I know. It's amazing, huh?" With a polite nod of his head, he made his way over to the dart board.
New heroes like Knight Elis would never have a chance with such a Class A Gal.
Thanks for standing my Hero's Cuties cooties... Via Tumblr.
