The thing about childhood friends is that they've been together since they can remember. A person that's always been by your side, no matter what. They've become so much a part of you, particularly because you've known them since you were a kid, that you can't imagine your life without them, you can't imagine yourself without them. They're the rule to your reason. The rhytm to your rhyme. The words to your song…
Guy – girl childhood friends, are a rare thing. And the reason is quite simple, there's that time in life when boys just want to be boys and girls just want to be girls – and the friendship would change. There would be a void in between them, the girl and the boy, love, lies, showing off… and as they grew up their friendship would have changed.
(This is just a sort of… I don't know what to call it, prologue? I have two stories in mind with the same 'beginning' but different, middle… if you get me. So the updates will probably be evenly distributed – or depending when inspiration strikes.
This story : is alternate universe. Which means I pretty much change most of the show. Billy and Jane used to be best friends, closer than you can imagine. But when they started growing up Billy started acting weird, after much stubbornness from Jane's side demanding answers, she eventually gave up, and the two drifted apart. Billy changed completely and is now part of the popular crowd. Jane remained being Jane as only Jane could(hehehe). But a chance encounter might just throw these two together, when Billy needs saving… from himself.
