She likes his hands (Or hand, rather, since she's only ever seen the one- but she's sure the other one is just as lovely, long fingered and fine boned- the glimpse she'd had of it when he lost the Magun indicated as such. Square and strong and rough with years of firing his gun. Perpetually covered by that oddly shaped glove, that only got the first finger and thumb, and left the rest bare.
She had never quite gotten up the nerve to ask him why he didn't just wear a normal one, but someday, someday, she would.
And maybe, maybe he would answer.)
and his cloak. (It was large and billowed in the wind, perfect for tugging on. Most of the time, it was all any of them could see of him anyway. He forever had his back to them, turning away, facing the enemies, the future, head on. Turning to no one.
But that would change- or so she hoped. That would change, and she would no longer be left with seeing nothing but his back.)
His mouth (Was really very nice, even if it was always pressed into that tight, hard line. She had decided that it would be a few more years before she even considered pressing her own against it, though in the meantime, she would only admire. It hoarded words, like a dragon with gold, occasionally allowing one or two to slip before it sealed up again, an impenetrable barrier against familiarity.
Then again, she didn't mind it much. After all, she had learned –with him- to like men that spoke only with ellipses.
"…"
It made her laugh aloud, to think that this would be his most probable reaction if she ever told him so.)
and his long auburn hair. (Even better to pull on than his cloak, though she restricted that particular activity to discrete tugs whenever she didn't think he'd notice. Looking back, he probably had, but then again, he'd never said anything either.)
Why?
Because (She would be rainbow to his monotone, light to his dark, earth to his wind. Kaze. And Lou.)
he was (Tall and silent and broody and wonderful and destructive and everything and nothing at all.)
just like that. (And then again, so was she.)

A/N: I typed out the beginning to this, oh, forever ago, and then finally had to push myself to finish it. My writing has been uninspired of late, and I hope this one… well, doesn't suck.
Review? ;D
