Give, Live, Love: The Origin
A drabble by LM Simpson
Disclaimer: As much as I love them, those adorable polar bears are owned by the Coca-Cola Company.
LM Simpson's tidbits (A/N): Fun fact: The Coca-Cola polar bear commercials are some of my favorite commercials ever. So, I decided to write a little drabble that concerns just how they got their favorite soda in the first place.
Enjoy!

The mother and her twins trekked across the snow in the dark, looking for food and drink. Every ice hole she clawed through did not reveal any fish, and every occasional harp seal managed to swim away before they became the polar bears' meal. It was urgent that the babies be fed soon…
The adult polar bear looked up at the pitch black sky; a human flying machine was roaring up above. Then, suddenly, an object fell from it; once it drifted to the ground with a red parachute covering it, she tore it away with one swipe and discovered the mystery object was a wooden crate.
Curious as to what was inside, the mother clawed a side open and saw glass bottles with a dark liquid shaking around inside. All three had never seen neither the concoction nor the shape of the bottle before, but hey, for all they knew, it could be food. The mother grabbed three bottles in her mouth and dropped them in front of her cubs. She then took one, teethed the cap off, and gave one to her children before drinking one herself.
She was surprised by the taste: sweet, refreshing, bubbly and tongue tickle inducing… Why this was better than seal and fish any day! Her cubs and her were definitely going to drink more, and would look for more when their supply ran out. Hmm, maybe the humans researching them knew where some was…
