Earth
The origin of our ancestors, scarred by war, and burdened with their advances, compelled the first voyagers across space in a desperate quest to colonize other worlds.
Space
Its timeless boundaries and infinite horizons forged the creation of stargates that could bridge the immense distances between the stars. Through mastery of this technology, mankind ventured deeper into the cosmos. Ruthless corporations rose to power seizing every world within their grasp, but once the star gates could take them no further they turned against each other, igniting conflicts that would last for centuries. The battles rage on even after they discovered the EVE Gate, a wormhole, passage to a remote corner of the universe, we named….
New Eden
It was the largest colonization effort in the history of man, the mass settlement of hundreds of strange, new, worlds, embracing them with the greatest of expectations, the highest of hopes, and the boldest of dreams. We thought nothing could stop us. We were fools to believe this. The wormhole leading to New Eden collapsed, severing the young colonies from the home worlds that sustained them. It was the beginning of a dark age that would erase civilization. On the opposite side of the wormhole, the wars of our greed brought an end to our race. World by world we fought for land, resources, and power till the worlds that sustained us were no more than uninhabitable rocks floating in the depths of space. Those who survived soon starved or suffocated in the empty void. Many colonize in New Eden shared the same fate. On the few worlds that could sustain life the scattered survivors of New Eden struggle to adapt and survive, light years apart, with no contact with each other.
Thousands of dark years passed
Earth, as many other lucky worlds, was soon able to sustain life to powerful creatures who now rule the world. The remnants of our ancestors failed to retake there lost planet. It ended humanity's life in the milky-way galaxy.
