AN: Ok, even though I'm really, really, happy these days. xd. You guys get a sad oneshot. Sorry. I really wanted to write this while ago. So, here it is. There will be a sequel.
Disclaimer: Don't own Hannah Montana
As you sit alone on a stool at Rico's, you're faintly aware of the smell of hot dogs and nachos, but you're real attention is on the couple sitting in chairs across the beach, the boy's arm wrapped around the your best friend, and you feel jealousy raging within you.
You try your hardest to pay attention to the english homework in front of you, trying hard not to pay attention to them. The happy, happy couple. You felt someone tap you on the forehead, and you look up to see Jackson shaking his head at you, and you sigh and turn back, glaring at the back of the boy's head.
Jake and Miley were pretty much made for each other, and you're feeling pretty left out right about now. You and Miley were supposed to come hang out on the beach. You were not supposed to be sitting with Jackson, doing english homework and half paying attention to what the blonde boy was saying.
Jackson's saying something again. You tune him back in, trying your hardest to just focus. Oh, he's helping you with your homework. Then, you see it. Jake and Miley are sitting in those same chairs, only now they're a lot closer, and they're connected at the lips.
Jackson sees your face.
You're trying your hardest not to let the heartbreak show on your face, but you can tell it is. You know it is just from the way Jackson's looking at you.
He tries to get you to focus on him, and not look at what's making you feel so crazy all the time. You try your best, you really do. You turn back to Jackson, and feel the lump rising in your throat.
Jackson's talking again. He's saying everything's fine, and to not worry about Miley and ego-boy. They'll break up soon enough, Miley will see that she's making a mistake. You however, know that's not true. Jake has changed. You know this from hanging out with him on many forced movie nights.
He and Miley loved each other. They were happy.
You jump up, running off the beach. You push past Oliver, who gives you a worried look, and moves to chase after you, before Jackson stops ignore Jackson, Miley and Oliver calling your name. You know they're worried, but they'll just have to worry. You could never tell Miley that you were in love with her. It would wreck everything you've built with her.
You come to a house, it's not your, it's not Miley's. It's a house you haven't been to in a while. You've sort of closed up from everyone, but the person here, she's your best friend, besides Miley, she'll understand, she'll get it. When you knock, the door shoots open, and you fall forward, into her arms. She holds you up, sees the tears on your face and wraps you in a tight hug.
AN: Ok, anyone confused? Bet you aren't. If you know me, it's supposed to kind of be from Lilly's point of view about Miley and Jake. The girl at the end, that's Mikayla. So you know.
