"When I'm older I'm going to be a captain just like you daddy" Five year old Hope Jones told her father one night, Killian had just gotten done reading his daughter a bedtime story. Hope had blonde hair like her mother Emma and blue eyes like her father. After Hope was born Killian and Emma had talked about him getting a job at the station, he told Emma that he would stay home with Hope while she worked and when she started Kindergarten they both would pick her since she got out around noon.
"You do?" Killian asked.
"Yes I'll have my own ship and go on may adventures and all my men will have to do what ever I tell them" Hope giggled.
"Ok for ship and for the adventures, but no men until your at least 30, understood Captain?" Killian smiled.
"But daddy! I need a crew" Hope told him.
"You have me, your mom, your brother, your grandparents, your uncle. We'll be your crew" Killian told her. Hope looked like she was considering it.
"Ok" Hope smiled "But if you don't do what I tell you daddy you'll have to walk the plank" Emma who standing at the door snorted and laughed.
"Is that so?" Killian smiled and started to tickle her. Hope squealed with laughter. He stopped after a minute. "Time to sleep"
"Another story" Hope asked, it was already 8:45 pm and she had a school in the morning.
"No time for bed" Emma said stepping in her daughters bedroom.
"Ok mommy" Hope smiled.
"I love you" Emma gave her daughter a kiss on the forehead.
"I love you mommy and daddy" Hope tells them both as they leave her room.
"I love you more" Killian tells his daughter and turns out her light. Emma gives him a kiss.
"30" Emma laughs.
"Ok 40 no dating till she's forty" Killian says giving Emma a kiss.
