Chapter One
FLASHBACK
"Oh! Ned" weeped Nancy .Ned was severly injured a bullet in his chest and bruises all over . Ned had saved Nancy's life by sacrificing his life .Nancy had almost solved her case when the bad guy came with a gun in his hand pointing at Nancy . She was all alone in the street , the guy pulled the trigger and the bullet was heading toward Nancy . suddenly Ned jumped outta no where and stood infront of her and took the bullet and saved her life by sacrificing his . Now Nancy was in the Hospital and Ned was in the ICU . Tubes covered him and his heart rate was low .Nancy started crying . She couldn't stop her tears . Ned's parents were with her in the Hospital . Edith Nickerson , Ned's mom tried to calm down Nancy by telling her that Ned was going to be okay . " Nancy why don't you go home and take some rest?" suggested Ned's dad . "I'm okay" replied Nancy .The doctors said nothing expect that he is critical . Nancy was losing hope . Nancy was ready to give up her life for him . Suddenly the Nurse rushed out of the ICU and bought the doctor and the doctor began examining Ned .Nancy was now really losing hope . " Is Ned okay? Or is he going to..." thought Nancy . " Don't lose hope , Nancy!" said her Inner voice . The doctors came out with a worried expression in their face . " Ned's parents?" said the doctor looking at Ned's mom and Dad . " yes" said Ned's dad . " Ned's all right , but he needs to take rest . He has to be here for a week until he is totally okay" said the Doctor . Nancy and Ned's mom let out a sigh . " you may go and visit him , but do not disturb him . He needs plenty of rest. Today we will transport him to the normal room" said the doctor left . " Thank you so much" murmured Ned's mom. The nurse came back " This young man is asking for someone called Nancy" said the nurse . " Nancy , you should go dear" said Edith . Nancy nodded and entered the ICU . Ned was covered with tubes and the Heart Rate machine was beeping which annoyed Nancy . She went near Ned and took his hand . Ned's eyes fluttered open . " Nan..cy , are you allright?" asked Ned . " I'm supposed to ask that to you!" replied Nancy . " I .. was just asking" said Ned . " Ned , I'm so sorry for all that happened" said Nancy " It's all my fault Ned . I'm so sorry Ned ." said Nancy and started crying . " Nancy , it isn't your fault , I just saved your life and if I hadn't done it ... you would be here in my place and I cant see that! Get it?" replied Ned wiping her tears . " I love you" said Ned flashing a week smile . " Nancy hugged him " I love you tooo" she replied . " ouch , ouch , it hurts" said Ned after the hug was over . Nancy chuckled . " your parents are very worried about you . you better see them now , Ned." Said Nancy . " yeah" replied Ned . " I'll call them in" said Nancy . Nancy turned around and started to leave as Ned caught her hand . " Nan , are you leaving?"asked Ned " yes Ned . I better go home or Dad will be worried about me" replied Nancy . Ned pulled her closer . " I will miss you" he said . " I'll be back this evening , I'll be here everyday by you're side until you're discharged ." replied Nancy . " oh Nance , I love you" said Ned and pulled her more closer and gave her a soft kiss on the lips . They pulled apart after a few minutes . " bye" said Nancy . " I love ya" replied Ned . " love you too , see you this evening . I'll send your parents inside now!". Replied Nancy . " bye Nan" said Ned . Ned watched as Nancy left the room . He didn't want her to leave..
