Zero

I look upon the bloody floor,

of those who always wanted more,

but they never found out what I have always know,

that gluttony is the base of a conquered throne.

But I have no time to think of them,

acquaintances gone and covered in gore,

I no longer think of them anymore,

they all became useless and broken.

There once were a few that seemed worthy of thought,

I thought there were many, but they were naught,

my acquanitances gone and covered in blood,

I turn swiftly, and leave them in the mud.

Glory forgotten, my name not known,

as I turned down my right, and claim, to the throne

Zero is not divided, and he has decided,

the name Lelouch Vi Britannia will be forever unknown.

A hinderance, washed. He sat in the empty seats,

of an old school, where the Student Council used to meet,

and Shirley was flustered, Milly being Milly,

and some of the memories were actually silly,

Refined, young, Lelouch, laughing with his friends,

but as he opens his eyes, the reality ends.

They are not seats anymore,

but forgotten scraps of wood,

and he dusts himself off,

as Zero should.

He is almost forgotten, but

somehow they all remember, how he made

zero have some sort of value,

and Zero isn't zero, and he's actually something,

and he won the war, all his own,

but the tears don't stop running.

Of what happened to Nunally, he's not really sure,

but somewhere she must be seeing, and standing up tall,

because, though she is little, she is bigger than small,

and he heart is big enough than several people she saw,

and he remembers being called brother, as her face

indicated awe.

Suzaku must be somewhere, dead or alive,

his knightmare frame broken,

his face covered in strife, wishing for Euphemia,

praying for Lelouch to return from nothing,

because his value isn't indicated.

And who knew a number,

and a bit of refrain, could have caused everyone,

so much disdain.

And his conquest delivered, he sat down and shivered,

wondering if he, Lelouch, made some kind of mistake,

some sort of unforgivable, completely foolish,

mistake,

So many lives, he did take.
